A display device includes a display configured to display an image and a controller configured to reduce a blue component in the image when an execution command of a blue light reduction function is received. The controller may detect a preset part or color and perform control such that an amount of reduction of a blue component of an area corresponding to the detected part or color is different from that of the remaining area.

Display device and method of operating the same

A plasma display panel is disclosed. The plasma display panel includes a front substrate, a rear substrate opposite the front substrate, a barrier rib that is positioned between the front substrate and the rear substrate to provide a discharge cell, a seal layer that attaches the front substrate to the rear substrate, and an exhaust hole that is formed on the rear substrate in a portion between the barrier rib and the seal layer. The exhaust hole is positioned in a portion overlapping an active area along a shorter side or a longer side of the rear substrate.

Plasma display panel

A plasma display panel includes a front substrate, a rear substrate arranged to face the front substrate, barrier ribs for partitioning discharge cells between the front substrate and the rear substrate, and an exhaust hole formed on the rear substrate in an area between the barrier ribs and the seal layer. A distance between the outermost barrier rib and the seal layer is less than a circumferential length of the exhaust hole.
