Wireless communications are described. Failure recovery associated with resource(s) may be used. A wireless device may select, based on a determined failure, a suitable candidate resource for cell(s), such as secondary cell(s). The wireless device may use the suitable candidate resource, such as a candidate beam, for an uplink channel transmission via a secondary cell, for example, until a new uplink channel configuration/activation is received.

Failure recovery and beam selection in wireless communications

Wireless communications are described. Failure recovery associated with resource(s) may be used. A wireless device may select, based on a determined failure, a suitable candidate resource for cell(s), such as secondary cell(s). Configuration parameters may lack at least one parameter associated with candidate resource(s). Based on the configuration parameters lacking the at least one parameter associated with candidate resource(s), the wireless device may use a default set of resource(s) for a candidate resource selection or may indicate that no suitable candidate resource has been determined. At least one parameter associated with candidate resource(s) may be indicated during a first failure recovery procedure. The wireless device may stop the first failure recovery procedure and may initiate a second failure recovery procedure.

Candidate resource indication for failure recovery in wireless communications

A wireless device receives configuration parameters indicating a first logical channel of a bearer, configured with duplication, mapped to a first base station distributed unit (DU) and a second logical channel of the bearer mapped to a second base station DU. Based on activation of duplication for the bearer, the wireless device transmits first data of the first logical channel via the first base station DU and second data of the second logical channel via the second base station DU.

A wireless device activates one or more transmission configuration indicator (TCI) states for decoding physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH). A wireless device transmits a sounding reference signal (SRS) with a spatial domain transmission filter determined based on a reference signal in an activated TCI state, of the one or more TCI states, with the lowest TCI state index among one or more TCI state indexes of the one or more TCI states.

A wireless device receives, via a control resource set (coreset), an indication of a resource assignment. A wireless device receives downlink control information (DCIs), in a control channel monitoring occasion, scheduling transport blocks (TBs) in downlink time slots. Each DCI of the DCIs: schedules a respective TB, of the TBs, in a downlink time slot of the downlink time slots; and indicates a same uplink time slot for transmission of acknowledgement information of the respective TB. A determination is made, in an acknowledgement codebook, locations of acknowledgement information of the TBs based on starting times of the downlink time slots. The acknowledgement codebook is transmitted.

A wireless device receives one or more radio resource control (RRC) messages comprising transmission configuration indicator (TCI) states for a cell, where each TCI state of the TCI states comprises an indication of a respective physical cell index (PCI). The wireless device activates, for a control resource set (coreset), a first TCI state comprising a first indication of a first PCI. The wireless device receives, via the coreset, a downlink control information (DCI) scheduling a transport block, and in response to the coreset being activated with the first TCI state comprising the first indication of the first PCI, the wireless device receives the transport block based on a second TCI state comprising the first indication of the first PCI.

Wireless communications may be used to support transmission power control. A reference signal may be mapped to a power control parameter set. A message to schedule a transmission may be received that indicates the power control parameter set. A transmission power for the scheduled transmission may be determined based on the reference signal.

Power control for wireless communications

Wireless communications may be used to support transmission power control. A message to schedule a transmission may be received without indicating a parameter for determining a power for the transmission. The transmission power may be determined based on a pathloss reference signal associated with a default index of a power control parameter set.

A wireless device receives radio resource control messages including pathloss reference indicators for sounding reference signal (SRS) resource sets of a first cell. Each SRS resource set includes SRS resources, each identified by a respective SRS resource identifier, and is identified by a respective SRS resource set identifier. Each of the SRS resource set is associated with a respective pathloss reference indicator, of the pathloss reference indicators, that indicates: a cell identifier identifying a pathloss reference cell, and a RS identifier identifying a pathloss RS. SRSs are transmitted, via SRS resources of a first SRS resource set of the SRS resource sets, with a transmission power determined based on a first pathloss RS of a first pathloss reference cell. The first pathloss RS and the first pathloss reference cell are indicated by a first pathloss reference indicator, of the pathloss reference indicators, associated with the first SRS resource set.

Power control in carrier aggregation with multiple transmission reception points

A wireless device receives one or more radio resource control messages including: a first processing time threshold, associated with a first power state of a cell, that is applicable to a gap between receiving a transport block (TB) and transmitting an acknowledgement; and a second processing time threshold, associated with a second power state of the cell, that is applicable to a gap between receiving a TB and transmitting an acknowledgement. Based on the first processing time threshold, a first TB received on the cell in the first power state is processed. A command is received indicating transitioning from the first power state to the second power state. In response to transitioning to the second power state and based on the second processing time threshold, a second TB received on the cell is processed.

Physical channel processing capability for power states

Wireless resource determination and use are described. A wireless device may determine to use a resource (e.g., PUCCH resource), indicated by control information (e.g., DCI), for sending an acknowledgement (e.g., HARQ-ACK feedback) of a reception of data (e.g., at least one transport block). The control information may be received in a message of a plurality of messages. The wireless device may select the control information (e.g., for determining the resource) from among other control information in the plurality of messages, based on one or more factors.

Wireless resource determination and use

A base station may transmit a first downlink control information (DCI) scheduling a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH). The first DCI may comprise a feedback timing indicator field. In response to the feedback timing indicator field indicating not to receive a feedback for the PDSCH before transmitting a second DCI, the base station may start a discontinuous reception (DRX) timer with a first value. The base station may transmit, via a downlink control channel, the second DCI while the DRX timer is running.

The CSI resource configurations comprise first CSI resource configurations associated with a first transmission reception point (TRP) and second CSI resource configurations associated with at least two second TRPs. The wireless device receives a command comprising a first field triggering the CSI report configuration and a second field indicating whether the CSI report configuration is associated with the first CSI resource configurations or the second CSI resource configurations. The wireless device transmits, based on the CSI report configuration and in response to the second field indicating the CSI report configuration is associated with the first CSI resource configurations. A CSI report comprises one or more first CSI quantities of the first TRP.

Channel state information reporting for non-coherent joint transmission

A wireless device transmits assistance information including first configuration parameters indicating that each cell group of cell groups is associated with a maximum number of multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) layers for a power saving operation of the wireless device with each of the cell groups operating in a different frequency range. Second configuration parameters, for the power saving operation, are received including: a first maximum number of MIMO layers for a first bandwidth part (BWP) of a first cell group of the cell groups, and a second maximum number of MIMO layers for a second BWP of the first cell. Based on the first cell belonging to the first cell group, the first maximum number and the second maximum number are each less than or equal to the maximum number corresponding to the first cell group.
