In one aspect, a display device includes a display panel including a plurality of pixels, each of the plurality of pixels including a first sub pixel, a second sub pixel, a third sub pixel, and a fourth sub pixel; a data driver configured to supply a data signal to the plurality of pixels through data lines; and a gate driver configured to supply a gate signal to the plurality of pixels through gate lines. A first interval between first sub pixels and fourth sub pixels of the plurality of subpixels that are in the same column is the same, and a second interval between second sub pixels and third sub pixels of the plurality of subpixels in the same column is the same.

According to an aspect of the present disclosure, a display device includes a substrate in which an emission area and a non-emission area are included and having a plurality of sub pixels thereon; at least one gate line disposed in the non-emission area; at least one reference line disposed in the non-emission area and overlapping at least one gate line; and at least one data line disposed in the non-emission area and overlapping at least one gate line, in which the at least one gate line includes a first bridge line and a second bridge line branched at an area overlapping the at least one data line and the at least one reference line and the first bridge line and the second bridge line are disposed on different layers and are connected to each other through a plurality of first contact holes.

A display device can include a display panel including a plurality of pixels configured to be driven in one of a driving period and a blank period, a timing controller configured to output a variable refresh rate (VRR) signal determining a refresh rate of the plurality of pixels and a video data signal, and a data driver configured to supply a data voltage to the plurality of pixels through a plurality of data lines, according to the VRR signal and the video data signal. The plurality of pixels can be driven at a first refresh rate or a second refresh rate which is lower than the first refresh rate, according to the VRR signal. Further, when the plurality of pixels are driven at the second refresh rate and the video data signal is a low grayscale video data signal, the output luminance of each of the plurality of pixels can be reduced during the blank period.

A display device can include a display panel having plurality of pixels, each including sub pixels having different colors; a data driver to supply a data voltage to the pixels by using a plurality of data lines; and a gate driver to supply a gate signal to the pixels using a plurality of gate lines. Also, each of the data lines is divided into a plurality of sub data lines, and each of the sub data lines is connected to sub pixels having the same color, sub pixels having the same color are disposed in a same column, and the sub pixels in the same column are connected to each of the sub data lines, and the number of sub data lines branching from one of a data line has the same number of gate lines which is connected to the plurality of pixels in a same row.

Also, the plurality of sub pixels are sequentially disposed in a same column, each of the plurality of data lines is divided into two sub data lines, and the two sub data lines are disposed on opposite sides of the plurality of sub pixels disposed in the same column.

According to an aspect of the present disclosure, a display device includes a display panel in which a plurality of pixels including a first sub pixel, a second sub pixel, a third sub pixel, and a fourth sub pixel each having a different color is disposed; a data driver configured to supply a data voltage to the plurality of pixels by using a plurality of data lines; and a gate driver configured to supply a gate signal to the plurality of pixels by using a plurality of gate lines, where each of the plurality of data lines is divided into a plurality of sub data lines and each of the plurality of sub data lines is connected to a plurality of sub pixels having the same color, thereby minimizing data transition of a data voltage.

A display device having an open area and a non-open area surrounding the open area includes a pixel electrode and a common electrode disposed in the open area; a gate line disposed to extend in a first direction in the non-open area surrounding the open area and transmitting a gate signal to the pixel electrode; a data line disposed to extend in a second direction in the non-open area and transmitting a data signal to the pixel electrode; a plurality of sensing lines disposed in the non-open area and transmitting a common voltage or a touch scan signal to the common electrode; and a photo touch sensor disposed in the non-open area and electrically connected to one of the plurality of sensing lines.

A display device includes a sensing storage line disposed in a first direction; a sensing data line disposed in a second direction; pixel thin film transistors which includes a first gate electrode connected to a gate line, a first source electrode connected to a data line, and a first drain electrode spaced apart from the first source electrode; and sensor thin film transistors which include a second gate electrode connected to the sensing storage line, a second source electrode electrically connected to the sensing data line, and a second drain electrode spaced apart from the second source electrode, wherein the second drain electrode may be electrically connected to the first drain electrode to share a pixel storage capacitor.

A display device is described that has reduced resistance in one or more of the gate, common, data electrical lines that control the operation of the pixels of the display device. Reduced resistance is achieved by forming additional metal and/or metal-alloy layers on the gate, common, and/or data lines in such a manner so that the cross-sectional area of those lines is increased. As a consequence, each such line is formed so as to be thicker than could otherwise be achieving without causing defects in the rubbing process of an alignment layer. Additionally, no widening of these lines is needed, thus preserving the aspect ratio of the device. The gate insulating and semiconducting layers that in part make up the thin film transistors that help control the operation of the pixels of the device may also be designed to take into account the increased thickness of the lines.

A display device according to the present disclosure includes a sensor pixel unit including a plurality of pixels, a photo touch sensor in the sensor pixel unit, a read out line which is disposed in a second direction and transmits a touch sensing signal by the photo touch sensor, a sensor data line which is disposed in the second direction and applies a sensor data signal to the photo touch sensor, and a sensor display gate line which is disposed in a first direction different from the second direction and applies a sensor gate signal to the photo touch sensor and applies a display gate signal to the plurality of pixels.

A display panel and display device are provided that may be capable of sensing an external light source, such as a laser. The display device may include a display panel including gate lines, data lines, and sub-pixels defined at intersections between the gate lines and the data lines; a light source-sensing circuit in an inactive area of the sub-pixels to sense an external light source; and a monochromatic color filter pattern disposed on a sensor transistor of the light source-sensing circuit. Thus, the incident amount of an external light source other than a laser can be reduced, and the incident amount of the laser can be increased. Accordingly, it may be possible to decrease an initial off-current caused by an external light source and improve the sensitivity in laser sensing. Thus, the size of the sensor transistor can be reduced and aperture ratio can be increased.

A pixel array of a liquid crystal display is discussed. The pixel array can include a first pixel including a first pixel electrode charged to a first data voltage, an upper common electrode which is positioned opposite the first pixel electrode and forms an electric field, a lower common electrode applying a common voltage to the upper common electrode, and a first storage capacitor for holding the first data voltage during a predetermined period, and a second pixel including a second pixel electrode charged to a second data voltage, the upper common electrode, the lower common electrode, and a second storage capacitor for holding the second data voltage during a predetermined period. The first and second storage capacitors are located in a storage area between the first and second pixels, which are positioned adjacent to each other in a horizontal direction.

A method of measuring a location of a user equipment (UE) located indoors in a wireless network includes receiving signals from a plurality of access points (APs), performing training for machine learning using the received signals or information acquired from the received signals, setting a weight vector to be applied to a relevance vector machine (RVM) method using data subjected to the training for machine learning, and applying RVM regression to the set weight vector and measured strengths of the received signals and determining whether the signals received from the plurality of APs are line of sight (LOS) signals or non line of sight (NLOS) signals.
