A linear compressor includes a cylinder that defines a compression space of a refrigerant and has a cylindrical shape, and a piston disposed in the cylinder and reciprocating along an axis of the cylinder. The cylinder includes a gas inlet formed on an outer circumferential surface of the cylinder, a supply port radially passing through the cylinder and communicating with the gas inlet, and a recess communicating with the supply port and formed on an inner circumferential surface of the cylinder. An angle formed by an axial cross section of the recess and a straight line extending the supply port and an angle formed by the axial cross section of the recess and a straight line extending the inner circumferential surface of the cylinder each are an acute angle.

Linear compressor

A linear compressor includes a discharge valve detachably attached to a front end surface of a cylinder to open and close a compression space of the cylinder; and a valve spring elastically supporting a rear surface of the discharge valve to press the discharge valve toward the front end surface of the cylinder. The discharge valve includes reinforced fiber, and the reinforced fiber is arranged parallel to the front end surface of the cylinder. Accordingly, while a rigidity of the discharge valve is improved, a weight of the valve is reduced to enhance responsiveness of the valve, suppress abrasion of the cylinder, and reduce striking sound.

A piston for a compressor includes a bearing portion having a cylindrical shape to define a suction space into which refrigerant is accommodated therein, the bearing portion being provided with a bearing surface facing an inner circumferential surface of the cylinder, a head portion coupled to a front opening of the bearing portion and provided with a plurality of suction ports which communicate with the suction space, the head portion having a compression surface configured to face a compression space to compress the refrigerant in the compression space, and a flange portion coupled to a rear opening of the bearing portion and provided with a through-passage through which the refrigerant is introduced from a muffler unit to the suction space, the flange portion being coupled to a driving portion to transmit driving force to the piston. The bearing surface is subjected to a surface treatment to improve abrasion resistance.

The present disclosure relates to a wear-resistant surface treating agent, a manufacturing method thereof, and a compressor using the same. According to one aspect of the present disclosure, the surface treating agent includes an organic solvent, nanodiamond powder and carbon nanotube powder dispersed in the organic solvent, and a PTFE solution mixed with the organic solvent, wherein the organic solvent is an amide-based organic solvent.
