An apparatus of a base station in a wireless communication system supporting time division duplex (TDD) and a method thereof are provided. The apparatus includes at least one transceiver, and at least one processor operatively connected with the at least one transceiver. The at least one processor may be configured to perform signaling for preventing transmission of an uplink (UL) signal in a cell, and measure a strength of a downlink (DL) signal received from at least one base station during at least one symbol in a UL subframe. Apparatus and method for managing interference in wireless communication system

Provided is a method for managing terminals by a base station when a plurality of networks coexist. Specifically, in a wireless communication system where a first network coexists with a second network, the terminal management method of a base station of the first network may include: receiving coexistence information from a first network management apparatus managing the base station, and examining the coexistence information; generating time information that is needed by a user equipment attached to the first network to access a third network on the basis of the coexistence information; and sending a message containing the time information to the user equipment. Thereby, it is possible to operate WiMAX and TD-LTE simultaneously while using a CDMA network for a voice service.

Method for managing terminal by base station when plurality of networks coexist

Disclosed is an apparatus and method for managing resources in a mobile communication system. The method includes classifying an overall frequency band into a plurality of segment types defined in time and frequency domains by considering a channel condition between a mobile station and the base station and a QoS level required by the mobile station, if data to be transmitted is data to be transmitted in real time, allocating the data to real-time type segments in such a manner as to satisfy a minimum QoS level for the data, and when there are real-time data remaining after allocating the data, and non-real-time type segments for allocating data to be transmitted in non-real time, diverting and allocating the real-time data to the non-real-time type segments.

Apparatus and method for managing resources in mobile communication system

In retransmitting data at high speed by a PHY layer in a mobile communication system, when data to be transmitted to the receiver is received from the MAC layer of the transmitter, the PHY layer of the transmitter transmits the data to the PHY layer of the receiver, receives first information representing normal reception or abnormal reception of the data from the PHY layer of the receiver, notifies the MAC layer of the transmitter of the normal reception of the data when the first information represents the normal reception, and retransmits the data to the PHY layer of the receiver when the first information represents the abnormal reception.
