A display device includes a display panel in which a plurality of first pixel areas and a plurality of second pixel areas each including a plurality of sub pixels are defined; a pixel circuit which is disposed in each of the plurality of sub pixels and includes a driving transistor; and a welding transistor which selectively connects the pixel circuits of the first pixel area and a second pixel area which are adjacent to each other, among the plurality of first pixel areas and the plurality of second pixel areas. Accordingly, the welding transistor is used to further supply a driving current of the pixel circuit to the light emitting diode of an adjacent sub pixel to improve the luminance.

The present disclosure relates to a display device including scan lines, data lines, control signal lines, and subpixels. A first subpixel among the subpixels includes a first light emitting element including an anode electrode and a cathode electrode; a first driving circuit connected to a first scan line of the plurality of scan lines and a first data line of the plurality of data lines and configured to drive the first light emitting element; a first light emitting control transistor configured to be turned on or off according to a first light emitting control signal supplied to its gate node and control a connection between the first light emitting element and the first driving circuit; and a first light emitting control circuit configured to output a first light emitting control signal to the gate node of the first light emitting control transistor.

A display device can include a substrate including a plurality of pixels; a plurality of light emitting diodes disposed in each of the plurality of pixels; a color conversion member disposed over at least two light emitting diodes among the plurality of light emitting diodes in one pixel among the plurality of pixels; and a light shielding pattern disposed over at least one light emitting diode among the plurality of light emitting diodes in the one pixel for forming a black sub pixel that does not emit light outside of the display device. Also, each of the plurality of pixels includes a first sub pixel, a second sub pixel, a third sub pixel, and one or more black sub pixels.
