The present invention relates to a system for diagnosing an insulation element within a battery management system (BMS), in which an input terminal and an output terminal of an insulation element obtain a battery pack diagnosis signal that is output through a battery monitoring circuit and passes through the insulation element, and then abnormality of the insulation element is diagnosed based on a bit operation value of the obtained battery pack diagnosis signal, or an input terminal and an output terminal of the insulation element obtain a transceived communication signal and then abnormality of the insulation element is diagnosed based on a bit operation value of the obtained transceived communication signal.

Provided are switch deterioration detection device and method. More particularly, the switch deterioration detection device includes: a resistor serially connected with a battery in which charge and discharge are controlled through a switch; a first differential amplifier configured to amplify a voltage difference between both ends of the switch to output the amplified voltage difference as a first output voltage; a second differential amplifier configured to amplify a voltage difference between both ends of the resistor to output the amplified voltage difference as a second output voltage; a comparator configured to compare levels between the second and second output voltages; and a controller configured to determine whether the switch deteriorates based on the compared result of the comparator.

An apparatus and a method for controlling an isolated switch are disclosed. The apparatus and the method for controlling an isolated switch according to the present invention, configure a circuit so as to maintain a light emitting diode (LED) included in an isolated switch in an OFF state at normal times and control the LED in an ON state when an event occurs in an isolated switch such as a photo MOS relay to reduce power consumed for emitting the LED by decreasing a duration for which the LED is maintained in an emission state and improve durability of a system adopting the isolated switch by improving a life-span of the isolated switch.

Device and method for controlling insulation switch

Disclosed is a separation and receiving apparatus for a spent nuclear fuel rod. The spent nuclear fuel rod is mounted and downwardly transferred by a pin. At this time, a blade peels the hull of the spent nuclear fuel rod. The hull and a pellet positioned therein are separated by a separator. The peeled hull and pellet are each received in respective receiving vessels. Accordingly, since the hull and pellet made of uranium oxide (UO) may be automatically separated and received in each respective vessel, safety and automation may be guaranteed.

Separation and receiving device for spent nuclear fuel rods

A vol-oxidizer of spent nuclear fuel, the spent nuclear fuel is injected to a reaction portion, the reaction portion is connected to a driving portion and oxidizes the spent nuclear fuel by rotating and back-rotating the spent nuclear fuel. The oxidized powder of the spent nuclear fuel is gathered in a discharge portion located in a lower portion of the reaction portion. By providing minute powder particles for recycling and a post process of the spent nuclear fuel, even though a size of an apparatus is small, processing a large amount is possible. Time required for oxidation can be reduced, and the powder is readily discharged by gravity since the apparatus is vertically configured.
