A protector includes: a protector body having a routing part in which a wire harness is routed, and a clamp attachment part in which a locking hole is formed; and a clamp which is locked in the locking hole to hold the wire harness. The clamp includes a pair of clamp-side flat parts which are formed to face in directions opposite to each other. The clamp attachment part has a pair of rotation prevention portions which are provided with the locking hole therebetween and which include body-side flat parts facing the clamp-side flat parts.

In a locked state of a structure, a connection part is positioned in a locking area, and a part of a locking protruding part overlaps with a part of a protection member base part in a lateral direction, when viewed from a top-and-bottom direction. Moreover, a third gap formed by a free end and an insertion edge part on a locking direction side of the insertion area in a longitudinal direction is shorter than a length of the locking protruding part in the longitudinal direction. When viewed from the top-and-bottom direction, a first gap exists between a connection outer peripheral face of the connection part and a locking edge part of the locking area in the longitudinal direction, and a second gap exists between the connection outer peripheral face of the connection part and the locking edge part of the locking area in the lateral direction.

Structure

A protector includes a base member and a cover member. The base member includes a pair of guide grooves extending along an attachment direction in which the cover member is attached to the base member and disposed on respective bilateral sides in a width direction perpendicular to the attachment direction, walls facing attachment direction-side ends of guide grooves in the attachment direction, and lock portions facing detachment direction-side ends of the guide grooves in a detachment direction.

Protector, wire harness, and attachment method for wire harness

A protector includes a base member and a cover member. The base member includes hooking portions, locking parts, inclined guides that go in the lower direction as going in the attachment direction, and horizontal guides that extend along the attachment direction. The cover member includes hooked portions provided on attachment direction-side ends of cover bilateral-side portions, locked portions provided on detachment direction-side ends and locked on the locking parts, and guided parts that are provided between the hooked portions and the locked parts in the attachment direction, and contact at least one of the inclined guides and the horizontal guides.
