A pixel includes an emission area and a non-emission area; first to fourth alignment electrodes spaced apart from each other in the emission area and an area of the non-emission area; an insulating layer disposed on the first to fourth alignment electrodes; first to fourth bridge patterns disposed on the insulating layer in the non-emission area; a bank disposed on the first to fourth bridge patterns in the non-emission area, and including a first opening and a second opening; first and second pixel electrodes disposed in the emission area; and light emitting elements disposed in the emission area, and electrically connected with the first and second pixel electrodes. A method for manufacturing a liquid crystal display includes: forming a first passivation layer and an organic layer, forming an edge of an inclined portion of the organic layer by partially removing the organic layer at a location where a first drain contact hole that exposes a drain electrode of a thin film transistor is formed, forming a second passivation layer including a third drain contact hole exposing the drain electrode, a first electrode including a second drain contact hole exposing the drain electrode, and the first drain contact hole through an etching process using one etching mask, and forming a second electrode on the second passivation layer. The first drain contact hole, the second drain contact hole, and the third drain contact hole overlap with each other, and a size of the second drain contact hole is greater than a size of the third drain contact hole.

Manufacturing method of liquid crystal display

The present invention relates to a liquid crystal display including: a first substrate and an opposing second substrate; a liquid crystal layer interposed between the first substrate and the second substrate; a light blocking member disposed on the first substrate or the second substrate; a first field generating electrode disposed on the first substrate; a second field generating electrode disposed on the first substrate and including branch electrodes overlapping the first field generating electrode; and a gate line disposed on the first substrate and extending in a first direction. A branch electrode of the branch electrodes includes a central portion and a first edge portion disposed at one end of the central portion. A first angle formed between the first edge portion and a second direction is greater than a second angle formed between the second direction and the central portion, the second direction being perpendicular to the first direction.
