A modular sports net assembly of the type forming an enclosure and used for receiving and retaining a sports item, such as a ball or the like. The assembly is assembled for deployment as a prism of varying shapes and sizes on any relatively flat ground surface and disassembled for storage. The assembly includes a tubular interfitting frame and a plurality of planar net panels.

Modular all sports net assembly

The self-erecting structure has resilient lower and upper support loops which provide it with shape and support. Fabric covers the support loops, and is permanently affixed to the support loops. The fabric has a lower, waterproof portion and an upper insect protection portion. The fabric is preferably treated to provide it with insect repellent and insecticide properties. The support loops are made of flexible, resilient rods made of a material, such as a vinylester and fiberglass combination having a diameter selected to enable the support loops to be folded into six loops, whereby the structure can be compactly stored in a rucksack. The method of folding the structure so that it can be stored in such a compact space is also disclosed.

Multi-purpose self-erecting structure having advanced insect protection and storage characteristics

An all sports net assembly is disclosed for providing an enclosure for receiving and retaining a sports item such as a ball or the like. The net assembly may be readily assembled for deployment on any relatively flat ground surface and disassembled for storage. The assembly includes a tubular frame structure formed into the shape of a prism. A plurality of intermediate pole segments interconnect a plurality of corner units. Each of the corner units comprises projecting pole receiving portions extending along at least three independent axis, where each pole receiving portion receives an end of said intermediate pole segments to define at least four planes. A plurality of netting panels are removably attached to the tubular frame structure so as to enclose the frame assembly except for one plane of the tubular frame structure.

An upright golf net assembly for practicing a golf swing has a stored mode collapsible for storage and a deployed mode expandable for practice and includes a pair of interconnected frames. The first and second frames are arranged in a substantially vertical upright position when the assembly is in the deployed mode, each frame having opposite lateral sides and an upper and lower portion. The first and second frames form perimeters that are interconnected at each of their respective opposite lateral sides, such that the first and second frames intersect at their respective opposite lateral sides. The first and second frames are retained in cooperating relation one to the other such that the first and second frames mutually support one another. A netting assembly is attached to the first frame and creates a substantially vertical netting surface for engaging the ball when the assembly is in the deployed mode.

Upright golf net assembly

A practice golf net assembly includes a pair of collapsible closed, elongated loops interconnected one to the other with a netting panel for receiving and retaining a golf ball or the like on any relatively flat ground surface. A first of the collapsible loops forms a first substantially horizontal periphery and a second of the collapsible loops is attached to opposite sides of the horizontal periphery of the first loop. An arc of the second loop defines a vertical portion disposed perpendicularly to the horizontal periphery of the first collapsible loop, while the remaining arc of the second loop generally defines an horizontal portion proximate a horizontal portion of the first loop. The netting panel is attached to the vertical portion of the second loop and to one of the horizontal portions of the first or second loop to form a substantially vertical netting surface for engaging the ball.

Multiloop golf net assembly

A portable practice golf driving net comprises a pair of vertically extending support poles formed from a plurality of articulating and interlocking segments. A top end of each of the support poles has a net support and a bottom end of each of the support poles has a pole support means. A substantially rectangular net has a top, bottom and side edges. Each of the side edges has a plurality of spaced apart retaining sleeves attached at vertical intervals thereto situated about a vertical length of one of the plurality of segments of the poles. The spaced apart retaining sleeves create a plurality of gaps, each of the gaps being in alignment and registration with mating ends of the segments of the poles, thereby allowing the pole segments to be attached and reattached to each other. An upper corner on each side of the net is attached to the net support and a lower corner of each side of the net is attached to the support pole proximate the pole support.

A portable child's amusement and educational center comprises a tent suitable for children's play of the type generally having flexible walls supported by a frame and a portal for entering and exiting, and a learning board for educational learning attached to the tent. The learning board is removable and interchangeable, and may contain educational exercises, allow for writing on its surface, or for attachment of alphanumeric characters or figures. The learning board is removably contained in a transparent pocket assembly preferably provided with transparent sub-pockets for containing various children's play articles bearing corresponding indicia.

Portable child's amusement and educational center and related articles

A self erecting tent structure comprises a compact, easily erected, and easily packed portable structure. A body comprised of flexible sheetlike material is supported by a resilient, single closed loop frame. The tent is generally stable and requires no support from attachment to the ground to remain upright by virtue of a low center of gravity provided by a roof portion having a generally hourglass shape, and preferably includes side walls descending from the roof portion at near vertical angles.
