A handover method for managing WBSS vehicle network managed by a WESS-CM includes: recognizing that a vehicle enters an overlapped area between first and second WBSSs; sending, by the first WBSS, a handover recommend request to the WESS-CM; confirming with the second WBSS, by the WESS-CM, whether handover is possible; responding to the WESS-CM, by the second WBSS, the availability of the handover after allocating communication resources; sending, by the WESS-CM, a handover recommend response to the first WBSS; transmitting, by the first WBSS, a handover request message to the vehicle; performing the handover, by the vehicle, by performing reassociation with the second WBSS; and periodically broadcasting, by the vehicle, basic safety message using a T-slot in shared control channel and a T-slot in BSM channel for the second WBSS, while the vehicle is located in the overlapped area.

Smart vehicle handover method in overlapped network environment

The present application relates to a multichannel access control method in an overlapped vehicular network, and more specifically, a multichannel access control method in vehicular networks, for managing a Wireless Access in Vehicular Environments (WAVE) basic service set (WBSS) vehicular network which is managed by a WAVE extended service set control and management system (WESS-CM) and is provided by using a road side unit (RSU) in a plurality of vehicle environments having overlapped areas, comprising: configuring Time Division Multiple Access (TDMA)-slots (T-slots) divided from the synchronization interval with respect to the CCH and a Basic Safety Message channel (BSMCH) for each WBSS that has a control channel (CCH) and the BSMCH in which the synchronization interval are preset, and distributing T-slots divided from the CCH to a plurality of the WBSS; wherein the first T-slot of the group of T-slots of the CCH is used to broadcast a beacon message including TDMA information of the WBSS such as the identification of the WBSS and the number of T-slots used in the CCH such that a vehicular networking is performed normally even at various vehicle densities, thereby providing higher scalability, reliability, and flexibility.

Multichannel access control method in overlapped vehicle networks

The present invention relates to a shock sensing device for vehicle and method for controlling thereof. The present invention can minimize battery consumption with faster handling of occurred accident more than prior art when camera was installed at a side of a vehicle to film a blind spot since the present invention can film information of a vehicle blind spot with camera of only 1 channel or 2 channel.
