Disclosed herein are an apparatus and method for detecting a malicious script. The apparatus includes one or more processors and executable memory for storing at least one program executed by the one or more processors. The at least one program is configured to extract token-type features, each of which corresponds to a lexical unit, and tree-node-type features of an abstract syntax tree from an input script, to train two learning models to respectively learn two pieces of learning data that are generated in consideration of features extracted respectively from the token-type features and the node-type features as having the highest frequency, and to detect whether the script is a malicious script based on the result of ensemble-based malicious script detection performed for the script, which is acquired using an ensemble detection model generated from the two learning models.

Disclosed herein is a demodulation method of a Layer-Division Multiplexing (LDM) system. The demodulation method may include receiving an LDM modulation signal, restoring a first-layer signal from the LDM modulation signal and remodulating the first-layer signal, restoring and remodulating a second-layer signal by performing cancellation of the amplitude component of the first-layer signal from the LDM modulation signal using signaling information independently of restoration and remodulation of the first-layer signal, and restoring a third-layer signal using the first-layer signal, the second-layer signal, and the LDM modulation signal.

Disclosed herein are an apparatus and method for providing FTN communication using transmit diversity. A transmission apparatus generates a signal to be output through diversity modulation. A diversity order of diversity modulation may be set based on an FTN parameter, such as a variable for adjusting sampling time or a symbol transmission speed. When the diversity order is set based on the FTN parameter, the FTN parameter and the diversity order may be set so as to satisfy a QoS required of the transmission apparatus, such as a transmission rate and a Bit Error Rate. Depending on the circumstances, the set FTN parameter and diversity order may be provided to a reception apparatus that is to receive the output signal.

Disclosed herein are a method and apparatus for iterative interference cancellation and channel estimation in a system based on FTN communication including a pilot. Interference of a pilot symbol on a data symbol is estimated, and the estimated interference is eliminated from a sequence of data symbols. When demodulation and channel decoding are performed on the sequence of data symbols, interference between data symbols and interference of a data symbol on a pilot symbol are estimated. Such estimation is repeatedly performed, and as FTN interference is repeatedly estimated and eliminated, channel estimation performance is improved, and through the improved channel estimation performance, the reception performance of the entire system is improved.

The optimal signal selecting apparatus includes: a plurality of sync recovery units for extracting sync information from baseband signals, which are candidate signals, except a baseband signal selected as a current optimal signal a plurality of auxiliary equalizers for channel-equalizing the candidate signals based on the extracted sync information; a plurality of SNR measuring units for measuring signal-to-noise ratios (SNRs) of the candidate signals inputted to the auxiliary equalizers and the candidates signals equalized in the auxiliary equalizers; and an optimal signal selector for selecting an optimal candidate signal from the candidate signals by using the extracted sync information and the measured SNRs, and replacing the optimal signal with the optimal candidate signal when reception quality of the current optimal signal is poor.

There are provided a method for selecting an optimal beam to improve digital broadcasting receiving performance, and a digital broadcasting receiving apparatus using the same. The method includes the steps of: a) calculating a mainpath Signal to Multipath signal and Noise Ratio (SMNR) based on a channel impulse response for a plurality of beams which are formed according to steering directions from output signals of antennas, wherein the output signal of each antenna has different phase shift according to location of antenna element; b) selecting a predetermined number of beams having a high SMNR value by comparing the calculated SMNR value for respective beam; c) calculating a mainpath Signal to Dominant Multipath signal Ratio (SDMR) based on a channel impulse response corresponding to the selected beam; and d) selecting a beam output signal having the biggest SDMR value by comparing SDMR values calculated in selecting a predetermined number of beams.
