An infusion flow regulator includes: a main body having an inlet through which fluid is introduced and an outlet through which the fluid is discharged; and a rotary dial rotatably coupled to the main body, with a sealing member interposed therebetween, so as to regulate a flow rate of the fluid, in which the rotary dial includes a regulating flow path having a shape of a recessed groove in cross section with a first width and a first height, and the regulating flow path includes a first region in which the first width is constant and the first height is decreased, and a second region in which both the first width and the first height are decreased. By the aforementioned configuration, the infusion flow regulator for the fluid can accurately regulate the flow rate even in a region where the flow rate of the fluid is very small.

An apparatus for preventing an axial-flow compressor from stalling by employing a casing treatment includes an outer casing having an inner wall with a slot formed to face a rotor blade, an inner casing moveable so as to open the slot in an unstable operating region and close the slot of the outer casing in a stable operating region, and a drive means for moving the inner casing along the axial direction of the outer casing. Thus, the apparatus can be applied not only to a casing treatment structure where the slope of a slot does not vary with the rotational position of the rotor, but also to a casing with a variously shaped slot such as a radial slot or an axial skewed slot.

Apparatus for preventing axial-flow compressor from stalling by employing casing treatment

A fluid stabilizing control method of an axial compressor is provided, which includes driving to drive the axial impeller, and stall controlling to suppress or prevent an occurrence of a stall that may transpire during rotation of the axial impeller by supplying highly-pressurized compressed air into the casing through a stall controller according to a predetermined time and volume. Accordingly, a stall may be suppressed or prevented, the occurrence of a stall that may transpire when a threshold point is exceeded by an unexpected event during driving in a low-flow high-pressure section on a performance curve, in which efficiency is high. Additionally, since an air injection method for suppressing the stall is properly applied, an amount of power expended for the stall control may be reduced while supply of the high-pressure compressed air is minimized, thereby achieving economically feasible stall control.
