Provided are display devices and methods of driving the same. A display device may include: a display panel, a main sound generator and a sub-sound generator disposed on a surface of the display panel. The main sound generator outputs sound in a first directional mode, and each of the main sound generator and the sub-sound generator outputs sound in a second directional mode. Each directional mode may be a mode in which sound is directed towards a particular viewer's location.

A display device includes a display unit which displays an image, a roller to which an end of the display unit is fixed and which winds or unwinds the display unit by rotating, a housing which accommodates the display unit and the roller, and a guide member which is provided inside the housing and guides a movement of the display unit.

A foldable display device includes: a first display panel including a first substrate and a first pixel array layer which is disposed on a first surface of the first substrate; a second display panel including a second substrate and a second pixel array layer which is disposed on a first surface of the second substrate; and a first sound generator disposed between a second surface of the first display panel opposite to the first surface of the first display panel and a second surface of the second display panel opposite to the first surface of the second display panel, where the first sound generator outputs first sound by vibrating at least one of the first and second display panels.
