The display device includes a panel including a plurality of driving electrodes and a plurality of sensing electrodes and a display driver IC configured to apply a common voltage to the plurality of driving electrodes and the plurality of sensing electrodes during a display driving mode. The display driver IC is configured to apply a driving pulse to the plurality of driving electrodes during the touch driving mode of the panel and receive one or more sensing signals from the plurality of sensing electrodes responsive to a touch of the integrated touch screen during the touch driving mode. The display driver IC is configured to adjust a magnitude of the driving pulse from a first level to a second level and subsequently from the second level to a third level during the touch driving mode of the panel.

The touch IC generates a first driving pulse, and determines whether there is a touch using a plurality of sensing signals generated by the sensing electrodes. When the panel operates a touch driving mode, the display driver IC generates a second driving pulse with the first driving pulse to apply the second driving pulse to the driving electrodes and receives the sensing signals from the respective sensing electrodes to transfer the sensing signals to the touch IC.

Disclosed are a display device and a driving method thereof. The display device includes a first common electrode line connected to a first common electrode of a plurality of common electrodes, and formed to overlap a data line formed in a panel where the plurality of common electrodes are formed. The plurality of common electrodes are separated from each other in a block form, receive a common voltage in an image output period, and receive a touch driving voltage in a touch sensing period. The display device includes a second common electrode separated from the first common electrode line with a protective layer therebetween, and configured to include two second common electrode plates which are separated from each other in a left and right direction with respect to the first common electrode line.

Disclosed is a display device. The display device includes a panel, a display driver IC, and a touch IC. The panel includes a plurality of driving electrodes and a plurality of sensing electrodes. The display driver IC outputs a common voltage to the driving electrode and the sensing electrode in a display driving interval, outputs a reference voltage to the driving electrode during a touch non-sensing period in a touch driving interval, and outputs a driving pulse to the driving electrode to receive a sensing signal from the sensing electrode during a touch sensing period in the touch driving interval. The touch IC transfers a control signal and a selection signal for selecting the touch sensing period and the touch non-sensing period to the display driver, and senses whether there is a touch with the sensing signal and the reference voltage.
