A refrigerator including a main body, a door, and an ice making chamber provided in the door and including an ice maker to make ice and an ice bucket to store the ice produced. The ice maker includes an ice making tray having a plurality of ice making cells for receiving water, an ice separation heater to heat the ice making tray so that ice is separated from the ice making tray, an ejector rotatably provided to transfer the ice separated to the outside of the ice making tray, and a water channel formed on partitions partitioning the plurality of ice making cells to allow water to flow between the partitions and configured such that at least one of surfaces in contact with ice has a tapered shape in which a thickness thereof gradually decreases in a direction of directing to the ice.

Refrigerator

A refrigerator that includes a main body, an ice-making chamber formed inside the main body, an ice-making tray to store ice-making water and generate ice, and a refrigerant pipe installed so that at least a part thereof is in contact with the ice-making tray, wherein a refrigerant flows in the refrigerant pipe, wherein the ice-making tray includes an ice-making cell that stores ice-making water, and a temperature sensor accommodation portion that accommodates a temperature sensor that measures temperature of water or ice stored in the ice-making cell, and the temperature sensor accommodation portion includes an accommodation portion that is formed in a groove shape, and has an open upper side so that the temperature sensor moves in or out, and a fixing portion which is coupled to a wire connected to a part of the temperature sensor or to the temperature sensor and fixes a position of the temperature sensor.

Disclosed herein is a door opening apparatus capable of preventing degradation of appearance quality of a door because an additional switch is not provided, and a refrigerator including the same. The refrigerator may include a main body including a storage compartment, a door provided to open or close the storage compartment, and a door opening apparatus provided to detect a moving amount of the door and open the door when the door is pushed.

Disclosed herein is a refrigerator having an ice bucket with a simple structure. The refrigerator may include a main body and an ice bucket provided to supply ice, wherein the ice bucket includes an ice bank provided with an ice storage space therein and an opening, an auger rotatably disposed in the ice bank to rotate about a rotating shaft to transfer ice, and a guide lever rotatably installed in the ice bank to open or close the opening and configured to open the opening by being pushed by ice being transferred in a direction of the rotating shaft.

A refrigerator is disclosed. The refrigerator includes a body, a storage chamber defined in the body while having an opened front side, a door to open or close the opened front side of the storage chamber, a water tank to store clean water, a carbonated water production module mounted to a back surface of the door, the carbonated water production module including a carbon dioxide gas cylinder stored with carbon dioxide gas, a carbonated water tank to produce carbonated water through mixing of the clean water with the carbon dioxide gas, and a module support to support a bottom of the carbonated water tank, and a water leakage sensor disposed on the module support, to sense water leakage occurring at the carbonated water production module. Through this configuration, it is possible to sense water leakage, and thus to minimize damage caused by water leakage.

A structure of a driving apparatus capable of easily organizing a driving apparatus that is configured to drive an ejector of an ice maker, and preventing frost from being formed on inner compartments, the driving apparatus including a case and a driving module detachable to the inner side of the case, wherein the driving module includes an ice separating motor to drive the ejector, a circuit board to control an ice making process, an electro-motion member to deliver a rotational force of the ice separating motor to the ejector, and a module case to accommodate the components of the driving module.

A refrigerator has an icemaker that includes a partition arm extending from the outside of the ice making tray into the ice making tray, the partition arm constituting a part of an ice compartment structure to define ice making cells. When the ice making tray is rotated in a given direction, the ice making tray allows ice to be separated from the ice making cells by being twisted by the partition arm. When the ice making tray is rotated in an opposite direction, the ice making tray allows the ice still present in the ice making cells to fall from the ice making cells by interference with a rotation stopper formed at the partition arm.
