A display device includes a first base member having a first light-emitting area, a second light-emitting area, and a non-light-emitting area between the first and second light-emitting areas; a second base member on the first base member; a first color filter on a first surface of the second base member that faces the first base member and overlapping with the first light-emitting area; a second color filter on the first surface of the second base member and overlapping with the second light-emitting area; a color pattern on the first surface of the second base member, between the first and second color filters, and overlapping with the non-light-emitting area; a light-shielding member on the color pattern and overlapping with the non-light-emitting area; and a first wavelength conversion pattern on the second color filter and including a first wavelength shifter.

Display device

A wavelength multiplexing device is disclosed. When light is irradiated on a first longitudinal end region of a metal nano-structure, surface plasmon polaritons are generated in the first longitudinal end region. The surface plasmon polaritons and the light are coupled with each other to form first coupled surface plasmon polaritons, wherein the first coupled surface plasmon polaritons propagate along and on a surface of the metal nano-structure. When the first coupled surface plasmon polaritons reach a two-dimensional material layer, excitons are induced in the two-dimensional material layer, wherein the induced excitons and the first coupled surface plasmon polaritons are coupled with each other to form second coupled surface plasmon polaritons. The second coupled surface plasmon polaritons propagate along and on a surface of the metal nano-structure toward a second longitudinal end thereof.

The present invention relates to a method for preparing enantiomerically pure compounds 1a and 1b of the following formula 1 from racemic compound 1 of the following formula 1. [formula 1] The compounds 1a and 1b of the above formula 1 respectively are important intermediates for a process for preparing the respective compounds 2a and 2b of the following formula 2, which are 2,2'-binaphthol-3-aldehyde derivatives. Light emitting device

Disclosed are a carbon nano-tube (CNT) thin film treated with chemical having an electron withdrawing functional group and a manufacturing method thereof. Specifically, the CNT thin film comprises a CNT composition to be applied on a plastic substrate. The CNT composition comprises a CNT; and chemical connected to the CNT and having an electron withdrawing functional group. In addition, the method for manufacturing a CNT thin film comprises steps of preparing a CNT; treating the CNT with chemical having an electron withdrawing functional group; mixing the CNT treated with the chemical with a dispersing agent or dispersing solvent to prepare a CNT dispersed solution; and forming a CNT thin film with the CNT dispersed solution. According to the CNT thin film and the manufacturing method thereof, a resistance of an electrode is decreased to improve the electric conductivity of the electrode.

Carbon nano-tube (CNT) thin film treated with chemical having electron withdrawing functional group and manufacturing method thereof

A method to manufacture a carbon fiber electrode comprises synthesizing polyamic acid (PAA) as a polyimide (PI) precursor from pryomellitic dian hydride (PMDA) and oxydianiline (ODA) as monomers and triethylamine (TEA) as a catalyst, adding dimethylformamide (DMF) to the polyamic acid (PAA) solution to prepare a spinning solution and subjecting the spinning solution to electrostatic spinning at a high voltage to obtain a PAA nanofiber paper, converting the PAA nanofiber paper into a polyimide (PI) nanofiber paper by heating, and converting the polyimide (PI) nanofiber paper into a carbon nanofiber (CNF) paper by heating under an Ar atmosphere. Also, the method to manufacture a polyimide carbon nanofiber electrode and/or a carbon nanotube composite electrode may utilize carbon nanofibers having diameters that are lessened by optimizing electrostatic spinning in order to improve spinnability.
