A fan motor for a vacuum cleaner includes a motor mount defining a cooling flow path inlet, an impeller, an impeller cover defining an air inlet, an air discharge opening defined at the motor mount and configured to discharge air to an outer space of the motor mount, and a cooling flow path outlet defined vertically above the motor mount. The cooling flow path inlet is configured to introduce air from the outer space of the motor mount into an inner space of the motor mount to cool the motor part, and the cooling flow path outlet is configured to discharge air from the inner space of the motor mount toward a space that is defined between the impeller and the air discharge opening based on the space between the impeller and the air discharge opening having a lower pressure than the inner space of the motor mount.

The present invention relates to a gas heat pump system. A gas heat pump system according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises: a compressor for compressing a refrigerant; a gas engine for driving the compressor; a mixer for mixing air and fuel to generate a mixed gas to be supplied to the gas engine; a mixed gas supply line connected between the mixer and the gas engine; and a supercharger for supercharging the mixed gas supplied to the gas engine through the mixed gas supply line, wherein the supercharger comprises a sealed housing formed by sealing the remaining parts thereof other than an inlet port and an outlet port through which the mixed gas moves into and out of the housing, and a bypass line is provided between the sealed housing and the inlet port of the supercharger so as to resupply a mixed gas in the sealed housing to the inlet port of the supercharger. Therefore, the system can prevent a safety-related accident resulting from the leakage of the mixed gas out of the supplier and can reduce the amount of fuel consumption.

There are provided a moving robot and a method of operating the same. A bottom surface is photographed to sense a moving distance and a moving direction based on input image data. The amount of light radiated to photograph the bottom surface is sensed to feedback control the light emission degree of a light source unit. The light source unit is controlled when errors are generated in sensing the image data. Therefore, the sensing ratio of the photographed image is improved so that correctness of calculating the position of the moving robot is improved.

A cleaner includes: a body provided with a dust collecting container for storing dust; a fan motor installed at the body and generating a suction force; a vacuum cleaning head disposed at a lower side of the body, for sucking dust when vacuum cleaning; and a water cleaning head mounted at the vacuum cleaning head, and provided with a suction head through which contaminated water is sucked when water cleaning and a water collecting container for storing contaminated water sucked through the suction head. As a suction nozzle for sucking contaminated water and a water collecting container for storing the contaminated water sucked through the suction nozzle are integrally formed and installed at a suction head, a cleaner capable of reducing the number of parts and a production cost, and employing a small capacity fan motor is provided.

A complex type cleaner is provided. The complex type cleaner includes a body having either a dust collecting container that stores dust or a water collecting container that stores contaminated water, a fan motor installed in the body that generates a suction force, a suction head arranged at a lower side of the body, that sucks dust at a time of performing a vacuum cleaning operation, a water tank mounted adjacent the suction head, that stores cleaning water to be sprayed onto a region to be cleaned at a time of performing a water cleaning operation, and a suction nozzle integrally formed with the water tank, that sucks water contaminated after completing the water cleaning operation. The complex type cleaner so configured reduces a number of components, reduces a fabrication cost, and has a large capacity water tank.

Disclosed herein is a blowing apparatus for refrigerators. The blowing apparatus includes a centrifugal fan. The centrifugal fan comprises a hub plate connected to a shaft of the motor, a plurality of blades attached to the hub plate in the radial direction of the hub plate for forcing cool air to flow, and a ring-shaped shroud connected to ends of the blades. The ratio of the inner diameter of the centrifugal fan, formed through connection of the inner ends of the blades, to the outer diameter of the centrifugal fan, formed through connection of the outer ends of the blades, is 0.63&#xb1;0.01. With the blowing apparatus for refrigerators according to the present invention, flow loss is minimized. Consequently, the present invention has the effect that energy consumption is reduced, noise is decreased, and thus the refrigerator is quietly operated.

Disclosed herein is a cool air circulation type axial flow fan for a refrigerator. The fan comprises a plurality of spaced blades mounted on the outer circumference of a hub for blowing cool air to a freezing chamber and a chilling chamber of the refrigerator. Several important design factors, such as the number of blades, a sweep angle, a pitch angle, a rake angle, a maximum camber position, and a maximum camber ratio of each of the blades, of the fan are optimally determined, whereby a noise generated over a wide frequency band is remarkably reduced. Furthermore, power consumption is reduced with reduction of flow loss.

Cool air circulation type axial flow fan for refrigerator

Disclosed herein is a cool air circulating blower for a refrigerator. The blower comprises a blowing fan for blowing cool air, a motor for driving the blowing fan, and a shroud for guiding the cool air leaving the blowing fan. The shroud is designed to suppress generation of turbulence in such a manner that the cool air leaving the blowing fan is dispersed quickly and condensed water obtained by condensation of moisture laden in the cool air is guided to some places other than the motor, whereby the noise caused due to the turbulence is reduced, the power consumption is decreased, the blowing efficiency is improved, and any breakdown of the motor due to the condensed water is prevented.

Cool air circulation blower for refrigerator

Disclosed is a blast fan for blowing air in a centrifugal direction thereof. The blast fan comprises a hub coupled to a rotating shaft of a motor, and a plurality of blades equally spaced and arranged around the outer peripheral surface of the hub. More particularly, the blast fan, of axial flow type or diagonal flow type, is configured so that turbo blades are integrally coupled to respective tips or trailing edges of the rotary blades. By achieving an optimal installation angle of the turbo blade, it is possible to achieve an increase in the flow rate and to reduce the level of noise generated.
