The present invention relates to a method and apparatus for recognizing a sound source. According to the sound source recognition method of the present invention, acoustic signals are detected from four acoustic sensors arranged in a rectangular shape when viewed in a horizontal direction, sound arrival times are measured, six Interactive Time Differences (ITDs) are generated based on differences in sound arrival time between the respective acoustic sensors, and the location of a sound source is estimated based on the six ITDs. In addition, the type of sound source is determined by extracting and classifying features of the sound source by using a sum signal from the four acoustic sensors.

Method and apparatus for recognizing sound source

Disclosed are a system and a method for notifying an abnormality signal around a vehicle. The system includes: an external sound recognition module mounted on the outside of a vehicle or between the inside and outside of a vehicle, and configured to recognize a sound generated within a radius of a predetermined value or less from a point where the vehicle is located; a noise filtering module configured to filter out noise classified as a noise item; an abnormality signal detection module configured to identify the detailed sound information including the source, magnitude, and type of the detected sound, and to detect an auditory abnormality signal; and a notification module configured to notify each of the type, magnitude, and generation location of the auditory abnormality signal by means of any one or more of a visual signal and an auditory signal.

System and method for notifying of abnormality signal around vehicle

There are provided a sound source visualization device and method. A sound source visualization device according to an embodiment includes: a sound source detection module configured to detect a sound source signal by using a plurality of sound source detection sensors; a preprocessing module configured to filter out the noise and amplify the sound source signal; a calculation module configured to calculate an approximate sound source location by analyzing the preprocessed sound source signal; a search module configured to generate a plurality of pseudo-planes by using the altitude information, to select planes, and to generate three-dimensional sound source location and altitude information by including information, obtained using the selected planes, in the approximate sound source location; and a visualization module configured to output sound source information to a preset system host or to convert this sound source information into a visualization signal and display the visualized signal.
