A communication apparatus and a low noise amplifying method. The communication apparatus includes a gain adjusting unit to adjust a gain of an input signal; a combiner to generate an output signal using the signal gain-adjusted at the gain adjusting unit; and a feedback unit which provides a feedback signal, which is generated using the output signal generated at the combiner, to an input stage. Accordingly, various frequency bands defined in the wireless standards can be supported. Since the load impedance is generated without resistance, the manufacturing cost and the product size can be reduced.

Communication apparatus and low noise amplifying method

An ultra wide band (UWB) device and a detect and avoid (DAA) method thereof are provided. The UWB device includes a detect and avoid (DAA) module block which detects a strength of radio signals received in a plurality of channels and determines communicability of the channels; a multitone generation block which generates a plurality of frequencies corresponding to the plurality of the channels and outputs one of the plurality of frequencies; and a controller which controls the multitone generation block to generate frequencies of an available channel which is determined to be communicable by the DAA module block. The method includes detecting a strength of radio signals received in a plurality of channels; determining communicability of the channels according to the detected strength of the radio signals; generating frequencies corresponding to a channel which is determined to be communicable; and transmitting or receiving a signal using the generated frequencies.

An inverted F antenna (IFA) which reduces specific absorption rate (SAR) includes a ground; an auxiliary radiator which is attached to one end of the ground and disposed along a plane direction of the ground; a radiator which lies at an interval from the auxiliary radiator in parallel and radiates electromagnetic waves; a feed which supplies current to the radiator; and a short which interconnects the radiator with the ground and discharges the current to the ground. Accordingly, the SAR can be decreased and the antenna size can be miniaturized.

A multiband antenna with removed coupling includes a radiator formed as a meander line bent zigzag several times and having a gap filling part in at least one area between neighboring meander lines. The gap filling part interconnects the neighboring meander lines. Accordingly, two different resonance frequencies can be tuned using the single antenna, and the antenna efficiency can be enhanced by removing the coupling between the resonant frequencies that are tuned through the gap filling.

The planar antenna includes: a dielectric layer with a predetermined thickness; first and second ground layers formed on top and bottom surfaces of the dielectric layer, respectively, corresponding to each other; and a first antenna unit which extends from a side of each of the respective first and the second ground layers, for radiating a first polarized wave with the application of current. A second antenna unit extends from a side of each of the respective first and second ground layers, for radiating a second polarized wave orthogonal to the first polarized wave with the application of current. A feeding stripline is installed between the first and second antenna units, in the dielectric layer, for applying the current to the first and second antenna units, wherein the first and second polarized waves can be separately radiated.

A micro-strip patch antenna for a radiotelephone transceiver includes a dielectric ceramic module for transmission and reception having a first ground plate, just one dielectric ceramic part for synchronizing frequencies, a conductive patch on the dielectric ceramic part for transmitting and receiving electromagnetic waves, transmission and reception power supply terminals projecting from different sides of the conductive patch. The antenna also has printed circuit board having a base, a second ground plate on the base to contact the first, and strip lines formed on the base so as to be adjacent but spaced from to the ground plates. The strip lines take care of impedance matching, and antenna provides for the use of a single channel power supply without modification.
