Provided are a signal transmission method and a network apparatus to control interference in a radio communication network. A terminal may transmit to the network apparatus, signal quality information associated with a radio channel formed between the terminal and a corresponding base station. The corresponding base station may output a signal received by the plurality of terminals, based on the signal quality information.

Signal transmission method and system for transmitting signal by using interference control method and/or transmission power control method

An achievable sum data rate with respect to each of available candidate transmission/reception modes may be calculated to select a transmission/reception mode of transmission/reception pairs repeatedly using radio resources. A transmission/reception mode to be applied may be selected from the candidate transmission/reception modes based on the calculated sum data rate. Information associated with the selected transmission/reception mode may be shared by the transmission/reception pairs.

A space frequency block code signal relaying system is provided. The space frequency block code signal relaying system includes a signal detecting unit which receives, via a radio channel, a source signal sent from a source station and detects the received signal; a relay signal generation unit which generates a relay signal corresponding with the source signal transmitted from the source station to a destination node based on the received signal, the source signal and the relay signal being signals encoded in a Space Frequency Block Code (SFBC) scheme; and a signal transmitting unit which transmits the relay signal to the destination node.

A communication network applying an interference alignment scheme with a low or reduced complexity is provided. The communication network may include a plurality of transmit nodes and a plurality of receive nodes. A plurality of combinations of transmit-receive pairs may exist between the plurality of transmit nodes and the plurality of receive nodes. A communication apparatus for the communication network may select, from candidate combinations of transmit-receive pairs, a target combination to be applied with the interference alignment scheme. In particular, the communication apparatus may sequentially decrease a number of candidate combinations to select the target combination with a low complexity.

A method and system for generating a space frequency block code relay signal includes a signal detection unit which detects a received signal by receiving a first and second source signals transmitted from a first and second source nodes, a relay signal generation unit which generates a relay signal cooperating with the first and second source signals using a space frequency block code (SFBC) scheme based on the received signal, and a signal transmitter which transmits the relay signal to a destination node.

A communication system may include a serving base station and neighboring base stations. Each of the serving base station and the neighboring base stations may have a corresponding user group. Terminals belonging to a particular user group may feed back information associated with interference channels, and reasonably generate a precoding matrix. Through this, it is possible to perform an accurate interference alignment and to enhance a throughput. In this instance, terminals belonging to the other user groups may feed back information associated with a throughput, and a corresponding base station may perform the interference alignment using a user selection resulting in decreased overhead.

The scheduling apparatus may assign a plurality of sub channels to links, with respect to each of a first sub frame and a second sub frame included in s downlink sub frame. A mobile station which connects to a base station having a plurality of relays belonging thereto is provided. The mobile station includes a receiving unit which receives a first preamble signal from a first relay and receives a second preamble signal from a second relay, the first relay belonging to a first cluster including an N1 number of relays and the second relay belonging to a second cluster including an N2 number of relays, a control unit which selects the first cluster as an access cluster to connect to the base station, based on the first preamble signal and the second preamble signal, and a transmission unit which transmits an access request message to the first relay, wherein the access request message is transmitted to the base station via the first relay.

An apparatus for adaptively modulating/demodulating signals in a multi-input multi-output (MIMO) system having a layered time-space architecture detector and a method thereof is disclosed. The apparatus includes: a bit and power allocation information calculator for deciding an equivalent channel gain in a reverse order of Vertical-Bell laboratories Space Time (V-BLAST) based on MIMO channel information feedbacked from a receiver and determining the number of bits and transmission power to be transmitted to each transmitting antenna by using the equivalent channel gain; and adaptive modulation means for modulating signal of each layer with corresponding modulation method based on the determined number of bits and transmitting power, controlling the transmitting power and transmitting the adaptively modulated signal through each transmitting antenna. The present invention can improve performance without increase of implementation complexity and easily expand to MIMO-OFDM system by adaptively modulating and demodulating signals in reverse order of conventional V-BLAST detection method.
