A driving apparatus enables a sliding-type portable wireless terminal to be opened or closed with reduced noise and through multiple stages of opening. The portable wireless terminal may have various functions corresponding to each of the multiple stages. The driving apparatus comprises: a main body; a sub body sliding in a longitudinal direction of the main body, so as to be opened from or closed onto the main body; a first magnetic module provided at a rear surface of the sub body and having a first magnet, the first magnet having a first polarity and extending in a longitudinal direction of the first magnet; and a second magnetic module provided at a front surface of the main body and having a second magnet, the second magnet having a second polarity and being opposed to the first magnet.

Driving apparatus using magnetic substance for sliding type portable wireless terminal

An earphone winding device in a portable terminal using an earphone is disclosed. The earphone winding device comprises a housing formed in a portable terminal body. A rotational bobbin is rotatably fit in the housing. It has, at a center thereof, a spiral spring for applying an elastic force to the rotational bobbin and thus rotating the rotational bobbin. A stopper is formed at a predetermined position on the lower surface of the rotational bobbin, for restraining the rotation of the rotational bobbin or releasing the rotational bobbin from the restraint. An earphone cord is wound around the rotational bobbin, connected to the earphone. An earphone hanger is formed at a predetermined position on an outer side surface of the body, for hanging or picking up the earphone thereover or therefrom. A connector unit is formed on the lower surface of the body, for contacting an earphone cord.

Portable terminal having earphone winding device built therein

A hinge device of an information terminal, wherein the information terminal comprises a main body, a sub-body to be opened away from or closed to the main body while rotating about a hinge axis extending in one direction of the main body, and the hinge device for rotatably coupling the main body to the sub body. The hinge device comprises a driving part generating a driving force for rotating the sub body, and a clutch part for rotating the sub-body by the driving force of the driving part. When the sub-body rotates by external force, the clutch part prevents rotating force of the sub-body from being transmitted to the driving part. Such a hinge device configured as stated above allows the user to automatically open and close the sub-body of the information terminal by virtue of a driving motor provided therein, as well as to manually open and close it. Further, the user can freely adjust an opening angle of the sub-body to various angles, resulting in improvement in convenience of use. Furthermore, a clutch function provided in the hinge device prevents external force from affecting the driving motor.
