Disclosed is a stacked organic light emitting device and a display apparatus including the stacked organic light emitting device. The stacked organic light emitting device includes an anode connected to an external power source, a cathode connected to the external power source, at least two light emitting sections aligned between the anode and the cathode, including a light emitting layer, and an internal electrode aligned between the light emitting sections. The internal electrode is a single-layered internal electrode which is made from one selected from the group consisting of a metal, alloys of the metal, and metal oxides thereof, having a work function below 4.5 eV, each light emitting section includes an organic material layer containing an organic material having an electron affinity above 4 eV, and the organic material layer is formed between the light emitting layer of the light emitting section and the electrode facing the anode connected to the external power source in two electrodes which make contact with the light emitting section.

A high speed digital image pattern matching circuit which recognizes an image pattern, and discriminates whether the recognized image pattern matches with a desired reference pattern and where pattern matching occurs. For discriminating whether a desired pattern is matched, an input pattern to be retrieved is digitally-modelled as two thresholds. The digitally modelled input image signal is blocked to have the same size as the reference pattern and compared with the reference pattern. The compared result is again compared with the thresholds for discriminating whether pattern matching occurs or not. The high speed digital image pattern matching circuit of the present invention utilizes two thresholds for modelling, thereby simplifying the input digital image signal in hardware and making processing speed very fast.

A method for forming a field oxide film in a semiconductor device comprises the steps of sequentially forming a pad oxide film and a first buffer silicon nitride film on a silicon substrate, and then forming a first patterned mask on the first buffer silicon nitride film. Subsequently, the resulting exposed part of the first buffer silicon nitride film is etched to expose a portion of the pad oxide film. The first patterned mask is them removed. A buffer oxide film is formed on the resulting exposed part of the pad oxide film and the etched first buffer silicon nitride film. Then, a second buffer silicon nitride film and a second patterned mask is sequentially formed on the buffer oxide film, followed by etching of the resulting exposed part of the second buffer silicon nitride. The second patterned mask is then removed, followed by a formation of a field oxide film by thermal oxidation on the resulting structure. The second buffer silicon nitride is then removed. A bird's beak removal mask is then formed on the field oxide film, followed by removal of a portion of a bird's beak. The bird's beak removal mask, the first buffer silicon nitride, and the pad oxide are sequentially removed. The present invention can minimize the size of the bird's beak generated when the field oxide film is formed on the semiconductor substrate by using a triple buffer (Nitride/Oxide/Nitride).
