A display device according to an exemplary embodiment includes: a thin film transistor array panel; and a color conversion display panel overlapping the thin film transistor array panel, the color conversion display panel including: a substrate; a color conversion layer positioned between the substrate and the thin film transistor array panel and including a semiconductor nanocrystal; a transparent layer positioned between the substrate and the thin film transistor array panel; and at least one of a first buffer layer positioned between the color conversion layer and the substrate and between the transparent layer and the substrate, and a second buffer layer positioned between the color conversion layer and the thin film transistor array panel and between the transparent layer and the thin film transistor array panel, and at least one of the first buffer layer and the second buffer layer includes a porous layer.

Display device

A display device includes a base portion including a pixel area including a light-transmitting area and a light-blocking area; a projection portion disposed on the light-blocking area of the base portion and including a first sub-color filter and a second sub-color filter overlapping over an overlap area; a light-blocking member disposed on the projection portion and overlapping the base portion; and a spacing member disposed on the light-blocking member, made of the same material as the light-blocking member and overlapping the projection portion. The first sub-color filter includes a first color pigment, the second sub-color filter includes a second color pigment different from the first color pigment, a first width of the first sub-color filter in a first direction is different from a second width of the second sub-color filter in the first direction, a third width of the first sub-color filter in a second direction is different from a fourth width of the second sub-color filter in the second direction, and the second direction is a direction intersecting the first direction.

A liquid crystal display device includes: a first substrate on which a display area and a non-display area surrounding the display area are defined; a plurality of gate lines disposed in the display area and extending in a first direction; a plurality of data lines disposed in the display area and extending in a second direction, the data lines intersecting the gate lines; and a black matrix extending in the first line to cover the gate lines or in the second direction to cover the data lines, where a width of the black matrix at a location adjacent to a boundary line between the display area and the non-display area is larger than a width of the black matrix at a location adjacent to a center of the display area.

Liquid-crystal display device and method of fabricating the same

Provided is a liquid crystal display, including a first substrate including a plurality of pixel regions including a transmissive light area and a non-transmissive light area, a second substrate facing the first substrate and a liquid crystal layer disposed between the first substrate and the second substrate, wherein the pixel regions includes color filters disposed on a base substrate, a pixel electrode disposed on each of the color filters at the transmissive light area and a black column spacer at a region except a region corresponding to the transmissive light area, wherein the each of the color filters has substantially rectangular shape with a long side and a short side, and wherein the long side has a recess portion in which a part of a long side corresponding to the non-transmissive light area is removed.

A display device includes a first substrate and a second substrate facing each other, a first thin film transistor ('TFT') disposed on the first substrate, a second TFT disposed on the first substrate, a first color filter disposed on the first TFT and a periphery thereof, a second color filter disposed on the second TFT and a periphery thereof and representing a different color from the first color filter, and a light blocking member disposed on the first and second color filters where the light blocking member includes a first spacer disposed on the first TFT and the first color filter, a second spacer disposed on the second TFT and the second color filter, a main light blocking portion disposed in peripheries of the first and second spacers, and a furrow disposed between the second spacer and the main light blocking portion.
