The method includes receiving line configuration information based on a reconfigured production line, retrieving process terminals required to be included in the reconfigured production line based on the line configuration information, when at least one among the process terminals required to be included in the reconfigured production line is not retrieved, transmitting information about the process terminal not retrieved to a line installer terminal, when all the process terminals required to be included in the reconfigured production line are retrieved, dividing the line configuration information based on each of the retrieved process terminals, and transmitting the divided line configuration information to each of the retrieved process terminals and verifying whether a component is provided in each of the process terminals.

The barcode recognition method includes receiving, from a sensor, a triggering message indicating that a product enters, setting a camera focus on the basis of a barcode in an image of the product obtained using a camera upon receiving the triggering message, obtaining a product image according to the set camera focus, performing preprocessing for extracting a barcode region on the product image, extracting the barcode region from the preprocessed image, and deriving barcode information from the extracted barcode region.

A method of generating a packet of a physical layer transmitter of a TV white space (TVWS) wireless personal area network (WPAN) system operating a WPAN service in TVWS is provided. A packet that is generated by the method of generating the packet includes a preamble, a start frame delimiter that is positioned after the preamble, a first physical layer header that is positioned after the start frame delimiter, and a physical layer service data unit that is positioned after the first physical layer header. Here, the first physical layer header represents whether the packet is a ranging packet for ranging, and includes a ranging packet identification bit corresponding to a reserved bit of the second physical layer header in a SUN system and a LECIM system, and a parity bit.

A method of generating networks by utilizing a multi-channel so that channels may be efficiently used, inter-channel interference may be avoided, and a network may be energy efficiently managed is provided. Through a super personal area network (PAN) coordinator that manages all networks based on a multi-channel, a PAN capable of avoiding inter-channel interference may be formed. In addition, it is possible to grasp use states of channels used for transmitting and receiving beacon frames, to observe a change in a network topology, and to form an energy efficient PAN.

A method for operating a device in a personal area network (PAN), includes: obtaining physical layer information regarding a physical layer; scanning a channel on the basis of the physical layer information; selecting a channel on the basis of channel information obtained through the channel scanning process; determining whether or not there is a PAN coordinator with respect to the selected channel; and when a PAN coordinator does not exist in the selected channel, transmitting a beacon signal including information regarding a superframe structure, wherein the superframe structure includes at least one sub-superframe, and the information regarding the superframe structure includes information regarding the number of beacon slots for transmitting a beacon signal in each sub-superframe, the number of data slots for transmitting data in each sub-superframe, and the number of sub-superframes.

Method for operating device in personal area network

A digital phase-locked loop apparatus using FSK includes a PFD detecting phase differences between a reference clock and a frequency-divided signal, and a first adder for generating first digital control codes by adding first digital codes, second digital codes, and channel frequency codes including channel information to each other, the first digital codes being converted from time differences between first and second pulses. The apparatus further includes a digital filter correcting errors of the first digital control codes to generate second digital control codes, a DCO for varying an oscillating frequency in accordance with a digital tuning word based on the second digital control codes, and a dual modulus division unit dividing the oscillating frequency into a frequency-divided signal.

Digital phase-locked loop apparatus using frequency shift keying and method of controlling the same

Provided are a routing table generating method, a data transmission method, and a routing route formation method for multi-hop communication in high rate wireless personal networks. In a high rate WPAN environment including a plurality of piconets, a piconet controller (PNC), which performs a topology server function to provide the optimal route, collects link state information from the PNCs or DEVs (devices) belonging to a sub-tree that serves as a root and applies a minimum cost algorithm based on the collected link state information to calculate the optimal route for all pairs of originations and destinations existing within the sub-tree in consideration of QoS. The optimal route information is transmitted to the origination PNC via the destination PNC/DEV. During performing this, the optimal route between the pairs of originations and destinations is set.

Routing table generation, data transmission and routing route formation method for multi-hop services in high rate wireless personal networks

A method for allocating distributed Medium Access Control (MAC) resources in a Wireless Personal Area Network (WPAN) includes calculating an acknowledgement overhead; calculating a Medium Access Slot (MAS) overhead depending on a payload length of a frame; calculating a transfer rate; calculating a number of frame bits to be transmitted; and calculating a first number of MASs. Thereby, the method optimized a final number of MASs required per superframe. Further, a distributed MAC resource allocation apparatus includes a MAC client for determining a resource allocation scheme and an amount of resources, and for sending a request to a MAC resource management unit; a MAC physical layer for providing a received power level or the like to the MAC resource management unit; and the MAC resource management unit for determining a payload length or the like and for allocating wireless resources to devices connected to the WPAN.

Resource allocation method and apparatus in distributed MAC for wireless personal area networks

Provided is an optimum resource allocation method in distributed medium access control in a wireless personal area network, including: defining needed parameters in advance; calculating an overhead AckOverhead needed for an acknowledgement policy and calculating an overhead MasOverhead generated per medium access slot by using the calculated overhead AckOverhead and an amount of the medium access slots which remain after transmitting a frame; calculating the number of frame bits to be transmitted per superframe; determining the number of medium access slots primarily needed per the superframe by using the calculated number of frame bits and the calculated overhead MasOverhead generated per the medium access slot; and optimizing the number of medium access slots finally needed per the superframe.
