A portable apparatus comprises a base body having a front portion provided with a keyboard and a rear portion, a display unit having a display, a socket for allowing the display unit to be detachable with the base body and for mechanically rotatably connecting the display unit between the first position where the display unit covers the keyboard and the second position where allows an operation of the keyboard on watching the display, and a part for giving rotational force to the display unit when the display unit is connected to the base body and for forming the rear portion to be flat when the display unit is removed from the base body. The portable apparatus of the present invention allows the front phase of the socket to be set to the position opposing to the socket mount phase when the display unit is removed from the socket, it can avoid the socket to be in the way, and the operability and the portability of the apparatus can be improved.

A fastener comprises a female member and a male member. The female member has a flange-like head having a pin insertion hole, a hollow cylindrical leg section extending from the head and having a plurality of legs defined by means of a plurality of slits extending from the free end toward the head, and elastic locking portions provided upon the outer periphery of the leg section. The male member has a pin-like portion passing through the pin insertion hole formed within the head of the female member, and a large diameter portion and first and second reduced diameter portions adapted to pass through the insertion hole and capable of engaging the free ends of the plurality of legs so as to achieve various different engagement modes.

A stabilizer for an automobile door window glass includes a plate-like bracket having opposite end mounting portions, a spacer having a predetermined thickness and fitted on the bracket, a stopper having through pin holes, a stabilizer body having a recessed portion in which the stopper is fitted and also having a mounting surface on which the bracket is fitted, and a cloth member with fur having opposite end portions formed with holes. The stabilizer body also has pins projecting from the bottom of the recessed portion, inserted through the holes of the cloth member and received in the pin holes of the stopper.

A band for binding articles comprises a band body having a plurality of ridges provided in a row at a fixed pitch and a buckle integral with one end of the band body and having an insertion hole and a plurality of elastic locking members extending through the insertion hole and provided with respective locking pawls staggered with respect to one another. When the band body is inserted through the insertion hole of the buckle, the locking ridges of the band body are locked to one of the elastic locking members in the buckle. It is thus possible to fine-adjust the locking state of the band body.

A cable holder comprises a U-shaped retaining body having a retaining groove for receiving cables, a head extending from the top of the retaining body and adapted to be inserted in a mounting hole formed in a panel, and locking means united via a hinge to the lower end of the retaining portion to close a lower opening of the retaining groove, whereby cables are fitted in the retaining groove, and then the locking means is fitted on the retaining portion to firmly hold the cables.

A detachable fastener comprises a central shank provided at one end thereof with a head portion and at the other end thereof with leg pieces of the shape of legs of an anchor movably connected through respective hinges to the aforementioned other end, and a receiving part adapted to receive external force and formed as connected to the leading ends of the leg pieces projected from the aforementioned other end of the central shank. In this fastener, the receiving part on receiving an external force causes the leg pieces to be bent about the hinges and the free ends of the leg pieces to be converged.

Detachable fastener

An upholstery fixing device consists of a bracket having a holdfast suspended therefrom with bendable or flexible straps. In use the bracket is riveted to the back of a trim board, and the holdfast is pushed into an associated aperture of an inside panel of a car door. Then, the bendable straps can be yieldingly bent to automatically reduce any misalignment between a fixed bracket (and hence its holdfast) and an associated aperture of the inside panel of the car door, thus facilitating the fixing of the upholstery to the inside panel of the car door in exact registration.
