In a combined cycle plant that combines a conventional thermal power plant and a gas turbine plant, there is provided a dump systemthat connects a main steam pipewith the condenserand dumps the steam generated by the boilerinto the condenser, bypassing the steam turbine; and HRSG HP turbine bypass systemand HRSG LP turbine bypass systemwhich connect the HP pipeand LP pipeof the heat recovery steam generator, respectively.

Combined cycle plant

A combined power plant, which has, as one of lines for supplying gas turbine cooling duty steam for cooling hot parts of a gas turbine, a line branching off from a steam line for leading high pressure steam from a high pressure superheater of a multi-pressure heat recovery steam generator to a high pressure steam turbine and leading a part of the high pressure steam to a supply line of the gas turbine cooling duty steam. The combined power plant is provided with a temperature lower limit value setting means for setting a lower limit value of an allowable temperature range for each gas turbine load and supplies a part of hot high temperature steam to the hot part of the gas turbine when the gas turbine cooling duty steam temperature is lower than the lower limit value of the allowable temperature range, thereby to raise the gas turbine cooling duty steam temperature.

Steam-cooled gas turbine combined power plant

An operating method of a combined plant that has several gas turbines and exhaust heat recovery boilers which generate steam by exhaust gas from the gas turbines wherein exhaust gas from each of the heat recovery boilers is passed through exhaust gas ducts and discharged from a common chimney. The method includes operating a combined plant having plural axes which may be suitably started or stopped and having means for discharging exhaust gas from three or more gas turbines through one common chimney. When the pressure at a joining part of an exit duct of an exhaust heat recovery boiler is a positive pressure or the atmospheric temperature is higher than a preset atmospheric temperature, gas turbines can be re-started or stopped without back-flow of exhaust gas of the gas turbine.

Method of operating combined plant

A heat recovery system for taking out a mechanical energy from hot exhaust gas from a gas turbine comprises at least two exhaust-gas boiler each having drum of an interior pressure different from each other, a steam turbine, a generator driven by the steam turbine, steam condenser and a plurality of heat exchanger. The heat exchanger is disposed in advance of the drum of the respective exhaust-gas boiler so that a feed-water circulating through the heat recovery system is pre-heated before entering into each drum by means of a cooling water which is used to cool blades of the gas turbine and becomes very hot.

Heat recovery system

An integrated power plant based on a molten carbonate type fuel cell and a gas turbine combined plant comprising a gas turbine, a steam turbine and a common generator driven by the gas turbine and the steam turbine is disclosed, where a reformer for a fuel gas to the anode of the fuel cell is heated through heat exchange with the cathode off-gas from the fuel cell to obtain the necessary heat for the reforming, and a portion of the anode off-gas from the fuel cell is combusted in a separate burner to form a CO.sub.2 recycle to the cathode, while most of the remaining anode off-gas is supplied to the gas turbine combustor. The existing gas turbine combined plant can be used, as it is, without any substantial modification, and the present fuel cell power generation plant can be simply added thereto as an auxiliary unit.
