A scroll fluid machine includes a revolving scroll in which a revolving wrap stands upright on an end plate supported revolvably on a drive shaft, and a fixed scroll which is provided opposite the revolving scroll and in which a fixed wrap stands upright on an end plate. The revolving and fixed wraps overlap to form a compression chamber for compressing a fluid by causing the revolving scroll to revolve. The scroll fluid machine further includes a rod-shaped member attached to the end plate of the revolving scroll and extending to a rear surface side of the fixed scroll, which is a side not opposing the revolving scroll. A revolving plate is attached to the rod-shaped member, provided with a pin crank mechanism, and supported revolvably on the drive shaft. The revolving plate is provided with a sealing unit that seals the compression chamber in an axial direction.

An exhaust gas filter comprises an outer tube, a plurality of center-closing filter units each having an isolation plate; and a plurality of center-opening filter units having an annular isolation plate, two kinds of filter units being arranged alternately in the outer tube. The isolation plate and annular isolation plate are enclosed by flammable fibers. When a contaminated gas goes through the flammable fibers, it can be filtrated.

Exhaust gas filter

A scroll fluid machine comprises a housing having a fixed scroll and an orbiting scroll revolved by a driving shaft which is driven by a motor behind the housing. A blowing fan is provided between the orbiting scroll and the motor. Rotation of the fan causes decompression in the housing to allow primary external air to be sucked from the outside into the housing through a primary sucking hole. Secondary external air is introduced from a secondary sucking hole and mixed with the primary external air of the scroll fluid machine to cool the parts of the scroll fluid machine in the housing and/or the motor.

A scroll fluid machine comprises a stationary scroll having a stationary wrap and an orbiting scroll having an orbiting wrap. A tip seal is provided in a tip-seal groove at the ends of the stationary and orbiting wraps to allow the stationary wrap to engage with the orbiting wrap slidably. The tip seal comprises a sealing material in the tip-seal groove and a backup material between the sealing material and the bottom of the tip-seal groove. The tip seal tightly contact the backup material without an adhesive to keep their sideward positional relationship exact.

A scroll fluid machine comprises a housing, a drive shaft, a stationary scroll fixed to the housing, and an orbiting scroll driven by the drive shaft. A gas from the outer circumference of the housing is introduced between the stationary and orbiting scrolls, and sent to the center by revolving the orbiting scroll in engagement with the stationary scroll. On the rear surface of the stationary scroll, there are provided a plurality of cooling fins that radially extend. Between the adjacent cooling fins, a silencer is provided to prevent noise caused by discharge of the gas.

In a scroll fluid machine, a stationary scroll and an orbiting scroll are provided. On the stationary scroll opposing the orbiting scroll, an annular groove is formed. An O-ring, a flexible support ring and a sliding member are put in the annular groove. The support ring has legs between which the O-ring is held. The sliding member in sliding contact with the annular groove is placed on the support ring, thereby decreasing deterioration and keeping stable sealing.
