Provided is a display panel including a substrate including an opening, a display area surrounding the opening, and a middle area between the opening and the display area, a plurality of inorganic insulating layers arranged on the substrate, a first partition wall and a second partition wall arranged in the middle area and arranged in the display area in a direction toward the opening, and a plurality of grooves arranged in the middle area and exposing portions of the plurality of inorganic insulating layers, wherein each of the plurality of grooves includes a metal dummy stack arranged at both sides of each of the grooves based on a virtual vertical line passing through a center of the groove and including a plurality of metal layers.

A display panel includes: a substrate including: a first area; a second area; and a third area between the first and second areas; a light emitting diode at the second area; an encapsulation layer over the light emitting diode; first and second partition walls at the third area; a first separator between the second partition wall and the first area; a second separator between the first separator and the first area; and a first groove between the first separator and the second separator. Each of the first and second separators includes: a first metal pattern layer; a first inorganic pattern layer; a second metal pattern layer; a second inorganic pattern layer; a third metal pattern layer; and a third inorganic pattern layer. An end portion of each of the first, second, and third inorganic pattern layers includes a tip extending toward a center of the first groove.

Display panel

A display panel includes a base layer including a display area and a non-display area, a repair circuit disposed in the non-display area, a pixel disposed in the display area and including a pixel circuit and a light emitting element electrically connected to the pixel circuit, and a repair line electrically connecting the repair circuit to the pixel. The pixel circuit includes a silicon transistor including a silicon semiconductor pattern and a first gate disposed on the silicon semiconductor pattern, an oxide transistor including a light shielding pattern disposed on the first gate and disposed on the same layer as the repair line, an oxide semiconductor pattern disposed on the light shielding pattern, and a second gate disposed on the oxide semiconductor pattern, and a bridge electrode electrically connected to the light emitting element and the silicon transistor.

A method includes providing an active pattern and gate metal patterns, and inorganic insulation layers respectively therebetween in a pixel area and each extending to a bending area, providing a first photoresist pattern defining a first opening in the bending area, providing by using the first photoresist pattern, at least one of the inorganic layers in the bending area which is etched, providing a remaining photoresist pattern defining a first remaining opening corresponding to the first opening and a second opening corresponding to the active pattern, and providing by using the remaining photoresist pattern, both a contact hole corresponding to the second opening and exposing the portion of the active pattern to outside the remaining photoresist pattern, and a portion of the base substrate corresponding to the first remaining opening and exposed to outside the remaining photoresist pattern.

Inorganic layer structure in bending area of display device and method of providing the same

A display panel includes: a substrate defining an opening therein; a plurality of light-emitting diodes in a display area surrounding the opening; an encapsulation layer on the plurality of light-emitting diodes, the encapsulation layer including at least one inorganic encapsulation layer and at least one organic encapsulation layer; a first partition wall and a second partition wall in a non-display area between the opening and the display area in a direction from the display area to the opening; and a plurality of grooves defined above the at least one inorganic insulating layer in the non-display area. The at least one inorganic insulating layer is on the substrate. At least one of the plurality of grooves is defined between the first partition wall and the second partition wall and is covered with the organic encapsulation layer.

Provided are a display panel and an electronic apparatus including the display panel. The display panel includes: a substrate having an opening; a plurality of light-emitting elements in a display area, the plurality of light-emitting elements including an intermediate layer; a plurality of partition walls in an intermediate area between the display area and the opening; at least one insulating layer positioned between the plurality of partition walls and the substrate; wherein the intermediate layer further includes an organic material layer extending toward the intermediate area from the display area, the organic material layer being separated by a plurality of first opening portions in the intermediate area, and the at least one insulating layer has a plurality of opening portions overlapping the plurality of first opening portions.

An LCD device includes first and second substrates and a liquid crystal layer disposed between the substrates. A gate transmitting member is disposed on the first substrate. The gate transmitting member includes a gate line and a gate electrode. A data transmitting member is disposed on the first substrate. The data transmitting member includes a data line, a source electrode, and a drain electrode. A pixel electrode is disposed in a pixel area. The pixel electrode is connected to the source electrode. A first gate insulating layer is disposed on the gate transmitting member. The first gate insulating layer has substantially a same shape as the gate transmitting member and has a greater size than a size of the gate transmitting member. A semiconductor layer is disposed on the first gate insulating layer. The semiconductor layer overlaps the gate electrode, the source electrode, and the drain electrode.
