An optical touch apparatus and optical touch method are provided. The optical touch apparatus has a touch area, and includes a light source module, at least one optical sensing module, and a processing unit. The light source module includes a plurality of light emitting elements, wherein each of the plurality of light emitting elements respectively provides a detecting beam to the touch area in different time periods. The processing unit is coupled to the light source module and the at least one optical sensing module. When each of the plurality of light emitting elements provides each of the detection beams, the processing unit controls the at least one optical sensing module to detect a corresponding predetermined region of interest according to the position of each of the detection beams and thereby output a sensing signal.

Optical touch apparatus and optical touch method

A positioner is provided for positioning a major optical sensing unit and an auxiliary optical sensing unit on a first screen. The positioner includes a body, and a first mounting hole and a first auxiliary mounting hole are formed on the body, and the first mounting hole and the first auxiliary mounting hole are aligned on a horizontal line, and the first mounting hole has a first pointing direction, the first auxiliary mounting hole has a first auxiliary pointing direction, and the first pointing direction is symmetrical to the first auxiliary pointing direction relative to a vertical line.

Touch display module and positioner thereof

An optical touch device includes a foldable frame assembly, two image sensing units and two light emitting units. The foldable frame assembly comprises a first frame, a second frame, a third frame and a fourth frame. The two image sensing units are disposed on opposite ends of the fourth frame respectively. The two light emitting units are disposed on opposite ends of the fourth frame respectively and adjacent to the two image sensing units respectively. The frames of the foldable frame assembly are pivotally connected to each other such that the frames can rotate with respect to each other so as to be folded or expanded.

Optical touch device and foldable frame assembly thereof

A foldable frame assembly is adapted for an optical touch device. The foldable frame assembly includes a first frame, a second frame and a third frame. The second frame is pivotally connected to a first end of the first frame and the third frame is pivotally connected to a second end of the first frame, wherein the first end is opposite to the second end. The second frame and the third frame can rotate with respect to the first frame so as to be folded or expanded with respect to the first frame.

A touch control apparatus includes a first light source, a first sensor, a second light source, a second sensor and a controller. A selection method for the touch control apparatus includes steps of: driving the first light to generate a first initial structured light; sensing a first reflected light distribution by the first sensor; driving the second light source to generate a second initial structured light; sensing a second reflected light by the second sensor; and, from multiple candidate touch positions, selecting positions corresponding to at least two touch points according to a first left reflected structured light, a second left reflected structured light, a first right reflected structured light and a second right reflected structured light.

Touch control apparatus and associated selection method

A touch-and-play input device coupled to an electronic device having a touch unit is provided. The touch-and-play input device comprises an input unit, a attaching unit and at least one conductive unit. The input unit generates an input signal. The attaching unit comprises an attaching surface. The conductive units are configured on the attaching surface of the attaching unit and are electrically connected to the input unit. The attaching unit attaches a portion of the touch unit of the electronic device through the attaching surface so that the conductive units touch a portion of the touch unit. Further, the input signal is input into the electronic device through the conductive units and the touch unit.

Touch-and-play input device and operating method thereof

An optical coordinate input device is disclosed. The optical coordinate input device includes a frame, a first touch detection area, a second touch detection area, a first detection module, a second detection module, and a processing module. The second touch detection area overlap the first touch detection area. The first detection module is disposed on the frame and adjacent to the second touch detection area for detecting the first touch detection area to generate a first touch coordinate signal. The second detection module is disposed on the frame and adjacent to the first touch detection area for detecting the second touch detection area to generate a second touch coordinate signal, wherein the first and second detection module are disposed on different surface of the frame. The processing is used for executing a coordinate calculation procedure base on the first and the second touch coordinate signal.
