An assembly device includes a first device and a second device. The first device is provided with a mounting slot. The second device has a through hole penetrating vertically therethrough. A buckle member is correspondingly accommodated in the mounting slot, and includes a base, a connecting leg extending downward from the base, and an extending portion extending obliquely downward from the base. The mounting slot is provided with a position limiting portion to stop the buckle member from being detached downward from the mounting slot. The connecting leg is inserted downward into the through hole, and is provided with a buckle portion extending in a lateral direction. The extending portion and the buckle portion are located at the same side of the connecting leg. The second device upward abuts the extending portion to drive the buckle portion to swing outward from the through hole.

Buckle member and assembly device having same

An electrical connector includes multiple signal terminals and multiple ground terminals paired to form multiple terminal groups and arranged in one row in a body. One signal terminal and one ground terminal form a first terminal group. Two signal terminals form a second terminal group. One ground terminal and one signal terminal form a third terminal group. An arrangement order of the two terminals in the third terminal group is different from an arrangement order of the two terminals in the first terminal group. Each terminal has a conducting portion. The conducting portions of the terminals in a same terminal group bend in a same direction, and the conducting portions of the terminals in adjacent terminal groups bend in opposite directions. The second terminal group is located between the first terminal group and the third terminal group, and between the adjacent ground terminals.

Electrical connector

A connector includes: an insulating body having a bottom surface facing a circuit board; and multiple first terminals and multiple second terminals. Each of the first and second terminals has a fixing portion fixed to the insulating body and a soldering portion bending and extending from the corresponding fixing portion and exposed out of the bottom surface of the insulating body. The first and second soldering portions are soldered to the circuit board in a surface mounting manner respectively, and are arranged in four rows in a transverse direction. The first soldering portions are distributed in two outer rows. The second soldering portions are distributed in two inner rows. A bottom surface of each first soldering portion has a lowest point. The lowest points of the first soldering portions in the two outer rows define a plane, and the second soldering portions are located above the plane.

Connector which can be stably placed on a circuit board

A card edge connector includes an insulating body, multiple terminals arranged at the insulating body, plastic ear clips, and metal reinforcing members embedded in the plastic ear clips. The insulating body has a slot extending along a lengthwise direction for inserting an electronic card. Each terminal has a contact portion protruding into the slot to connect the electronic card. Each plastic ear clips has a main body and a withdrawing portion disposed below the main body. The plastic ear clip has two rotating shafts at two opposite sides of the main body. The rotating shafts are pivoted to the insulating body. The withdrawing portion is used for pushing the bottom end of the electronic card to be separated from the slot. The metal reinforcing members extend in the main body and the withdrawing portions, and has a first through hole arranged at a position corresponding to the rotating shafts.

Card edge connector

A method for manufacturing a shielded connector includes: providing a body having an upper surface, a lower surface, a signal accommodating hole and a ground accommodating hole; plating a metal layer on the upper surface of the body and inner walls of the signal accommodating hole and the ground accommodating hole; forming an isolating region in the area around the signal accommodating hole to divide the metal layer into a first metal layer and a second metal layer; electrifying the first metal layer with an electroplating treatment so as to increase a thickness of the first metal layer, where the second metal layer is not thickened; partially removing the metal layer, so as to completely remove the second metal layer and decrease the thickness of the first metal layer; and installing a signal terminal and a ground terminal correspondingly in the signal accommodating hole and the ground accommodating hole, respectively.

Method for manufacturing shielded connector

A card edge connector includes an insulating body with a central slot extending along a longitudinal direction and for inserting an electronic card, conductive terminals arranged on the insulating body, and at least one latch device arranged at one end of the insulating body and having a rotating member pivoted to the insulating body and a pressing member pressing the rotating member and moving vertically relative to the insulating body. Each conductive terminal has a contact portion protruding into the central slot. The rotating member has a latch portion latching the electronic card and a card ejecting portion abutting against and pushing the electronic card. One of the rotating and pressing members has first and second crimping chamfers, and the other slides on the first crimping chamfer before sliding on the second crimping chamfer to form two-stage sliding during which pressing force required for the pressing member's downward movement changes.

An electrical connector includes an insulating body having at least one terminal slot, and at least one terminal received in the terminal slot. The terminal slot is provided with a first inner wall and a second inner wall. The terminal has a fixing portion. The fixing portion is sequentially provided with a bonding section and a thinned section. A thickness of the thinned section is smaller than that of the bonding section. The bonding section forms interference fit with the second inner wall. The thinned section forms interference fit with the first inner wall, and extends to the second inner wall. In a direction perpendicular to the second inner wall, a gap exists between the thinned section and the second inner wall.

An electrical connector includes a body, a soldering portion, an insertion arm, a through hole, and a conductive layer. The soldering portion is disposed on the body. The insertion arm protrudes from the body, and has at least one contact portion. The through hole is formed in the body. One end of the through hole is connected to the soldering portion, and the other end of the through hole is formed through the insertion arm. The conductive layer extends along an inner wall of the through hole from the soldering portion to the insertion arm, and connects the contact portion. The conductive layer is disposed on the body and the insertion arm to achieve an electrical contact effect. Since the body and the insertion arm are conducted through the conductive layer in the through hole, the electrical connector is easy-to-manufacture without requiring assembly of terminals.

A shielded connector includes a conductive body having a plurality of receiving holes formed through, a plurality of insulating members respectively fixed in the receiving holes, and a plurality of terminals respectively fixed to the insulating members. Each terminal has a contact portion exposed upward to the insulating member and a soldering portion exposed downward to the insulating member. The terminal and the conductive body are in an nonconductive state. The conductive body is formed by integral injection molding, which does not require pre-molding an insulating body having a plurality of receiving holes and plating metal layers in the receiving holes, so that the process is simple yet novel and the problem that metal layers easily peel off is solved while ensuring a stable and good shielding effect.

Shielded connector

An electrical connector includes an insulating body, a plurality of signal terminals, a shielding member, and at least one grounding terminal. The insulating body is provided with at least one first receiving slot and a plurality of second receiving slots. The plurality of signal terminals is respectively received in the second receiving slots. The shielding member has at least one shielding plate disposed inside the insulating body. The at least one grounding terminal is respectively received in the first receiving slot. The grounding terminal has an elastic arm extending upwards and exposed out of the first receiving slot, and the elastic arm has a contact portion correspondingly electrically conducted to the upper shielding layer. The grounding terminal, the annularly disposed shielding plates, the upper shielding layer and the lower shielding layer jointly define a three-dimensional shielding space for the signal terminals.

An electrical connector includes: an insulating body, having a plurality of terminal slots formed through the insulating body; a plurality of terminals, each correspondingly received in each terminal slot; and at least one recessed portion, recessed on the insulating body and located between at least two terminals, and plated with a metal shielding layer. As the recessed portion is recessed between at least two terminals, the air medium capacity can be adjusted by adjusting the size of the recessed portion, so as to adjust the characteristic impedance between the adjacent terminals to a desired value, thereby improving the high-frequency performance of the electrical connector. Furthermore, the recessed portion is plated with the metal shielding layer, so that the terminals are shielded and prevented from getting in contact with the metal shielding layer, thus avoiding the problem of short circuit.

Electrical connector with shielded recessed portions

An electrical connector includes: (a) an electrical connection base, in which a notch is opened forwards at a rear side of the electrical connection base, at least one protruding block, at least one first receiving hole, and at least two second receiving holes are opened forwards from the notch, (b) at least one first terminal, having a vertical first connecting portion correspondingly, and (c) at least two second terminals, each having a vertical second connecting portion correspondingly disposed in the notch. The protruding block has an increased thickness, thus effectively ensuring functions of the protruding block of protecting terminals, isolating the first connecting portion from the second connecting portion and avoiding short circuit between the first connecting portion and the second connecting portion.

The present invention relates to an electrical connector. The electrical connector includes an insulating body having a plurality of card slots recessed at a front end. The insulating body has adjacent a plurality of first and second receiving slots disposed at a rear end of the card slots. Each of a plurality of first terminals has a first connecting portion received in the first receiving slot. Each of a plurality of second terminals has a second connecting portion received in the first receiving slot. The second terminal has an extending portion extending laterally, entering the first receiving slot, and disposing in a front-rear manner relative to a corresponding part of the first terminal. The insulating body has a gap defined between the extending portion and an adjacent extending portion.

An electrical connector includes: an insulating base with a perforation; an insulating cover with a through hole and two slots recessed from a top surface, covered on and capable of sliding relative to the insulating base; a thrust member, disposed on the top surface of the insulating cover, has a body accommodated in the through hole, the body comprises an axial pushing hole, a plate portion respectively extending from two sides of the body and accommodated in the corresponding recessed slots; and a cam, having a driving portion above the body and a shaft extending downwards from the driving portion, at least one interference portion projects from a periphery at a lower end of the shaft and fixed near a bottom of the insulating base, the shaft passes through the axial pushing hole and the perforation.

Electrical connector with improved thrust member

An electrical connector includes an insulating body, having at least one receiving housing running through the insulating body; at least one conductive member, comprising a contact portion disposed in the receiving housings, and has a middle part higher than two ends; a pair of first retaining arms, extending downwards from one end of the contact portion, wherein a retaining hole is formed between the two arms, and each of the two arms has a hook portion extending towards the retaining hole; a second retaining arm, extending downwards from the other end of the contact portion, wherein the second retaining arm extends towards the retaining hole, and has a width smaller than the retaining hole; and at least one solder ball, disposed in the receiving housing, received in the retaining hole, and pressed against by the two hook portions of the two first retaining arms and the second retaining arm.
