A robot toy including: a first block including a servo; a second block connected to the first block by fitting an output shaft of the servo into a boss; and a servo control section. The servo is provided with, a first disk to rotate with the output shaft; a second disk provided facing the first rotating disk to rotate relatively to the first rotating disk in a plane parallel to the first rotating disk according to user operation; and an angle detection section to detect a relative angle between predetermined reference lines on the first and second disks. The servo control section includes a center position control section to rotate the output shaft and the first rotating disk, and to control the servo while a position of the servo, when the relative angle is 0, is at a center position.

Robot toy and assembling method thereof

Parking area toy

A radio controlled toy in which movement of the toy upon changing the travelling direction is natural and human-like. An upper body is mounted on a seat plate such that the upper body is twisted with respect to the seat plate. Two legs are mounted on the seat plate such that the direction thereof is changed with respect to the seat plate. The upper body and the two legs are interconnected by way of a link mechanism so that a twisting movement of the upper body and a direction changing movement of the two legs is performed in an interlocking relationship with each other. Further, a rotation controlling unit is provided for stopping rotation or reducing the speed of rotation of a wheel provided on an inner side of one of the two legs when a twisting movement of the upper body and a direction changing movement of the two legs are carried out. Since the upper body can be twisted when the travelling direction is changed to a direction to which the radio controlled toy is going to be turned with respect to the seat plate, the movement of the radio controlled toy becomes natural.

Remote control robot toy with torso and leg twist and torso tilt

A toy wheeled vehicle includes an inertial element located so as to move between two positions. A spring is associated with the inertial element to accelerate it from its first position to its second position. When the element reaches its second position the force of the acceleration is transferred to the vehicle chassis and the vehicle chassis 'jumps' in response to the force.

Trick vehicle capable of jumping

A moving toy has a plurality of rotating elements located along opposite sides of its body. A motor is connected to these elements via a gear train so as to rotate the elements on the body. A plurality of sets of movable members each are capable of independently being connected to either the rotating elements or to both the rotating elements and the body. Each of the sets of the movable members when connected to the rotating elements are capable of moving the body in a unique manner which differs from the method of movement of any of the other of the sets of the members. The members can include eccentric rolling members, single walking members or compound walking members.

Toy capable of executing multiple moving modes

A summersaulting toy has a housing with a motor located in the housing. A first and second shaft are located parallel to one another transverse to the longitudinal axis of the toy with the ends of the first and second shafts projecting beyond the right and left sides of the housing. A foot pedestal is attached to right and left sides of both the right and left shafts respectively. In response to rotation of the shafts by the motor, the housing rotates about the shafts such that the housing is rotated first by the foot pedestals on the first shaft as the housing summersaults up and over the first shaft, and then by the pedestals on the second shaft as the housing summersaults up and over the second shaft. This process repeats itself in a cyclic manner as the toy does summersaults across a support surface.
