A cooling structure of a vehicle battery unit includes: a plurality of battery modules; a plurality of battery cooling units; a supply pipe; a discharge pipe; and a battery case. The supply pipe includes a supply pipe portion which passes between the at least two battery modules arranged in the vehicle width direction and connects the plurality of battery cooling units. The discharge pipe includes a discharge pipe portion which passes between the at least two battery modules arranged in the vehicle width direction and connects the plurality of battery cooling unit. The supply pipe portion and the discharge pipe portion have bellows pipe portions which are made of resin and can be expanded or contracted in the front-rear direction and curved pipe portions which are made of resin and bend in the vehicle width direction.

Cooling structure of vehicle battery unit

A vehicle battery unit includes: a battery module; and a battery case configured to accommodate the battery module. The battery case includes: a case body; and a cover configured to seal an upper opening of the case body, the case body is provided with a front-rear reinforcement member disposed in a bottom portion of the case body and extending in a front-rear direction of a vehicle, and the front-rear reinforcement member includes a first battery support portion which supports the battery module.

Vehicle battery unit

A cooling structure of a vehicle battery unit includes: at least two battery modules; a battery cooling unit; an electric connection box; a battery case; a supply pipe; and a discharge pipe. The supply pipe includes: a first supply pipe portion passing between a battery module of the at least two battery modules, which is the battery module located on one side in a vehicle width direction, and the electric connection box; and a second supply pipe portion passing between the at least two battery modules. The discharge pipe includes: a first discharge pipe portion passing between a battery module of the at least two battery modules, which is the battery module located on the other side in the vehicle width direction, and the electric connection box; and a second discharge pipe portion passing between the at least two battery modules.

In a battery cooling device for an electric vehicle, a cooling medium supply piping and a cooling medium discharge piping are disposed in a fore-and-aft direction in a middle part in a vehicle width direction of a vehicle body. A plurality of cooling members extend toward opposite sides in the vehicle width direction from both the pipings. A cooling medium passage returns in an outer end part in the vehicle width direction of the cooling member. Therefore, when the vehicle is involved in a side collision, it becomes difficult for both the pipings to be damaged, and cooling medium is prevented from leaking. Also, the cooling medium flows by making a U-turn inside the cooling member, thereby enabling positions on outside and inside in the vehicle width direction of a battery to be cooled evenly.
