A nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery separator film transfer device is provided which realizes a foreign object removing technique that is less likely to cause defects in a separator. The device includes a magnet bar which is arranged in a transfer path and generates a magnetic field for removing, from a separator film being transferred, a magnetic substance adhering to a first surface of the separator film; and an air cylinder which allows a distance to the magnet bar from the first surface of the separator film to be variable.

To provide (i) a method for producing an assembly capable of protecting a film from external force during, for example, transport and (ii) such an assembly, a method for producing an assembly includes a step of inserting a pillar-shaped core member through a plurality of separator rolls and a buffer member(s) made of a flexibility material and provided between separator rolls such that the separator rolls and the buffer member(s) are arranged alternately.

Provided is a separator core around which a separator is wound or is to be wound, in which at least one of (i) a connection between a surface of a support part and the inner peripheral surface of the outer cylindrical part and (ii) a connection between the surface of the support part and the outer peripheral surface of the inner cylindrical part is made smoothly by a curved face.
