A control apparatus for a vehicle is provided. The vehicle includes driving motors provided for respective wheels. The driving motors each output driving torque for the vehicle and output regenerative torque. The control apparatus includes: one or more processors; and one or more memories communicably coupled to the one or more processors. The processors predict an output increased state ahead in a direction of travel of the vehicle. The output increased state causes output torque of any of the driving motors to be larger than a rated output. On the condition that the output increased state is predicted, the processors limit the driving torque and the regenerative torque of a relevant one of the driving motors expected to produce an output larger than the rated output in the output increased state, to under the rated output, until the output increased state occurs.

Vehicle steering apparatus

A front-rear wheel driving force distribution device includes a center differential and a limited slip differential. The limited slip differential includes a first clutch, a second clutch, a first piston, a second piston, and a one-way clutch provided between the first clutch and a rear propeller shaft. If the second clutch is engaged by the second piston, the propeller shaft on the rear side rotates at increased speed as compared with a case where the first clutch is engaged by the first piston. The one-way clutch couples the first clutch and the rear propeller shaft if a number of rotations of the first clutch is same as or higher than a number of rotations of the rear propeller shaft, and idles if the number of rotations of the first clutch is lower than the number of rotations of the rear propeller shaft.

A driver assistance apparatus for a vehicle calculates a vehicle speed of a random vehicle present ahead of the vehicle, and momentum of a front part or a rear part of the random vehicle, on the basis of detection data by a surrounding environment sensor configured to detect data regarding surrounding environment around the vehicle, and estimate a slip angle or a slip angular speed of a rear wheel of the random vehicle, on the basis of data regarding at least the vehicle speed of the random vehicle and the momentum of the front part or the rear part of the random vehicle, and data regarding an estimated distance from the rear wheel of the random vehicle to the front part or the rear part of the random vehicle.

A vehicle control apparatus for a vehicle including at least two wheel-pairs of right and left wheels includes one or more processors, and one or more memories communicably coupled to the one or more processors. Upon straight traveling of the vehicle, the one or more processors predicts time of generation of a difference in a suspension stroke amount between the right and left wheels in any one wheel-pair out of the at least two wheel-pairs, and reduces driving torque adapted to drive the right and left wheels in the one wheel-pair of the first vehicle at or before the time of the generation predicted.

The processor sets a target steering angle every predetermined cycle, on the basis of a curvature radius of a first arc passing through a current position of a vehicle, and controls a steering angle on the basis of the target steering angle. The processor sets the target steering angle by obtaining a second arc passing through the current position and tangent to a traveling direction of the vehicle, on the basis of a sum of minimum distances to the first arc from respective target points on a target path. The processor sets the target steering angle in a second cycle following a first cycle, before the vehicle reaches a position corresponding to the farthest one of the target points used for setting of the target steering angle in the first cycle.

Vehicle control apparatus and vehicle control method

A vehicle control apparatus includes a processor. Before the vehicle passes through an inflection point of a curvature of a target trajectory, the processor sets a first reference point before the inflection point. After the vehicle passes through the inflection point, the processor sets a second reference point at a position where a second distance from a current position of the vehicle after the vehicle passes through the inflection point to the second reference point is longer than a first distance from a current position of the vehicle before the vehicle passes through the inflection point to the first reference point when compared under travel conditions identical in a vehicle speed, an acceleration rate, a deceleration rate, or a steering angle. The processor sets a target steering angle based on the curvature of an arc passing through the current position and the first reference point or the second reference point.

An information processing device to be used in a data collection system configured to collect data to be acquired during traveling of a vehicle includes a travel position setting unit, a guidance information output unit, and a data acquisition unit. The travel position setting unit is configured to set an ideal travel position for the vehicle on the basis of information of a request of a requester for collecting the data. The guidance information output unit is configured to output guidance information used to guide the vehicle on the basis of information of the ideal travel position. The data acquisition unit is configured to acquire collection data serving as the data to be collected during a period of time within which the vehicle travels in accordance with the ideal travel position.

A data processing apparatus includes a communicator, an acquisition unit, and an output controller. The communicator is configured to receive request data from a server. The request data contains a content of a request for collection of traveling state data of a vehicle. The acquisition unit is configured to acquire the traveling state data of the vehicle on the basis of the request data received by the communicator. The output controller is configured to cause an output device to output an acquisition status of the traveling state data acquired by the acquiring unit.

Data processing apparatus and data collecting system

A data collecting system includes a server and a data processing apparatus. The server holds at least one piece of request data including at least a content of a request for collection of traveling state data on a vehicle and a requisite condition for the collection of the traveling state data. The server sends request data of interest to the data processing apparatus. The data processing apparatus acquires the traveling state data on the vehicle on the basis of the request data of interest received from the server, and sends the acquired traveling state data to the server.
