An insulating bobbin to be mounted on a stator core has a tooth-endface facing portion that faces an endface portion, in an axial direction, of the tooth portion and a tooth-side-surface facing portion that faces a tooth side surface portion, in a circumferential direction, of the tooth portion; the tooth-side-surface facing portion has a first abutting area that abuts on the tooth side surface portion, a second abutting area that abuts on the tooth side surface portion at a more outer side in a radial direction than the first abutting area abuts thereon, and a middle inner wall surface portion that is situated between the first abutting area and the second abutting area and faces the tooth side surface portion via a space.

Electric rotating machine

A resolver device with redundancy, wherein winding groups of different systems are arranged at different positions in a circumferential direction of a stator core. The winding groups of each system include: an excitation winding group consisting of a plurality of excitation windings, each of which is connected to a corresponding one of plural excitation circuits; and a first output winding group; and a second output winding group. Each of the stator teeth has a corresponding one of the excitation windings wound therearound. When two of the excitation windings belonging to different systems, arranged side by side in the circumferential direction of the stator core, are defined as a first end excitation winding and a second end excitation winding, respectively, the first end excitation winding and the second end excitation winding are supplied with excitation signals which generate magnetic fluxes in the same (not opposite) radial directions of the stator core.

A redundant resolver is configured of a stator and a rotor that form a pair, wherein the rotor is a rotor with a shaft angle multiplier of Nx having Nx (Nx is a natural number) salient poles, the stator is such that n teeth Tto Tn, where n is a natural number, are disposed sequentially in a circumferential direction, configuring M systems by being divided into M in the circumferential direction, and having an angle of 360/M degrees when angles of the teeth configuring one system are totaled, a one-phase excitation winding and a two-phase output winding are wound around each of the teeth Tto Tn, excitation signals of the same frequency are applied by differing excitation circuits to the respective excitation windings, an output order per system is Nout (Nout is a natural number), and an abnormality is detected based on output signals of the M systems.
