A lithium ion conductive material has a composition formula of Li(OH)FBr, where 1.8≤a≤2.3, b=a−c−1, 0.01≤c≤0.11, and includes an antiperovskite-type crystal phase. Preferably, the lithium ion conductive material further includes a layered antiperovskite-type crystal phase. More preferably, 0≤B/(A+B)≤0.2 is satisfied, where A is the peak intensity in the vicinity of 2θ=31.2° in the X-ray diffractometry using Cu-Kα ray and B is the peak intensity in the vicinity of 2θ=30.2°.

Lithium ion conductive material, all-solid-state secondary battery, and method of manufacturing solid electrolyte

Provided is a solid electrolyte which contains a composition expressed by 3LiOH·LiSO. The solid electrolyte has a lithium ion conductivity of 0.1×10S/cm or more at 25° C. and an activation energy of 0.6 eV or more.

Provided is an all-solid lithium battery including: a low-angle oriented positive electrode plate that is a lithium complex oxide sintered plate having a porosity of 10 to 50%; a negative electrode plate containing Ti and capable of intercalating and deintercalating lithium ions at 0.4 V or higher (vs. Li/Li); and a solid electrolyte having a melting point lower than the melting point or pyrolytic temperature of the oriented positive electrode plate or the negative electrode plate, wherein at least 30% of pores in the oriented positive electrode plate is filled with the solid electrolyte in an observation of a cross-section perpendicular to a main face of the oriented positive electrode plate.

All-solid lithium battery and method of manufacturing same

A lithium ion conductive material has a composition formula of Li(OH)FClBr, where 1.8&#x2264;a&#x2264;2.3, b=a &#x2212;c&#x2212;1, 0&#x3c;c&#x2264;0.30, 0&#x3c;d&#x3c;1, and includes an antiperovskite-type crystal phase. The lithium ion conductive material is manufactured, for example, by heating LiOH, LiF, LiCl, and LiBr at a temperature not lower than 250&#xb0; C. and not higher than 600&#xb0; C. for 0.1 hours or more while stirring them at a molar ratio of 1:X:Y:Z (where 0.03&#x2264;X&#x2264;0.3, 0.2&#x2264;Y&#x3c;1.1, 0&#x3c;Z&#x3c;1) under an Ar gas atmosphere.

Provided is a secondary battery including: a positive electrode plate composed of an inorganic material containing a positive electrode active material in an oxide form and having a thickness of 25 &#x3bc;m or more; a negative electrode plate composed of an inorganic material containing a negative electrode active material in an oxide form and having a thickness of 25 &#x3bc;m or more; and an inorganic solid electrolyte, the secondary battery being charged and discharged at a temperature of 100&#xb0; C. or higher.

All-solid-state lithium battery and method for manufacturing same

A MgO-based ceramic film according to the present invention contains crystalline phases of MgO and MgAlO, and Al is dissolved in the MgO to form a solid-solution. The ceramic film exhibits a diffraction peak representing the (200) plane of MgO at an angle&#x3b8; of more than 42.92&#xb0; in CuK&#x3b1; XRD measurement. A shoulder preferably appears on the higher angle side of the peak representing the (200) plane of MgO. The mass ratio MgO/AlOof MgO to AlOconverted from Mg and Al in terms of oxides is preferably higher than 2.33.

The ceramic basemay have an XRD peak of a (111), (200), or (220) plane of Mg(Al)O(N) measured using a CuK&#x3b1; ray at 2&#x3b8;=36.9 to 39, 42.9 to 44.8, or 62.3 to 65.2 degrees, respectively, between a magnesium oxide cubic crystal peak and an aluminum nitride cubic crystal peak.

The ceramic material of the present invention contains a crystalline phase of a complex oxide containing a Group II element M and a rare earth element RE. The Group II element M is Sr, Ca, or Ba. An XRD diagram of the ceramic material shows a first new peak between peaks derived from the (040) plane and the (320) plane of MREO. Such a ceramic material may be manufactured by, for example, preparing a material containing MREOor a material capable of reacting in thermal spray flame to produce MREOas a thermal spray material, and thermally spraying the thermal spray material onto a predetermined object.

A mullite sintered body according to the present invention has an impurity element content of 1% by mass or less and contains sintered mullite grains having an average grain size of 8 &#x3bc;m or less. When a surface of the mullite sintered body is finished by polishing, pores in the surface have an average largest pore length of 0.4 &#x3bc;m or less. The surface preferably has a center line average surface roughness (Ra) of 3 nm or less. The surface preferably has a maximum peak height (Rp) of 30 nm or less. The number of pores in the surface is preferably 10 or less per unit area of 4 &#x3bc;m&#xd7;4 &#x3bc;m.

In an X-ray diffraction diagram of a cordierite sintered body of the present invention, the ratio of the total of the maximum peak intensities of components other than cordierite components to the peak top intensity of the () plane of cordierite is 0.0025 or less. Since having a significantly small amount of different phases other than the cordierite components, this cordierite sintered body has a high surface flatness when the surface thereof is mirror-polished.

The present invention provides a ceramic material comprising magnesium, gallium, lithium, and oxygen as main components, wherein a crystal phase of a solid solution attained by dissolving gallium oxide and lithium oxide in magnesium oxide is a main phase. An XRD peak of a (200) plane of the solid solution with CuK&#x3b1; rays preferably appears at 2&#x3b8;=42.91&#xb0; or more which is larger than an angle at which a peak of a Cubic crystal of magnesium oxide appears, more preferably appears at 2&#x3b8;=42.91&#xb0; to 43.28&#xb0;, and further preferably appears at 2&#x3b8;=42.91&#xb0; to 43.02&#xb0;. In the ceramic material, a molar ratio Li/Ga of Li to Ga is preferably 0.80 or more and 1.20 or less.
