Adding silica particles having specified collective characteristics to a fluororubber formulation enhances direct adhesion between the fluororubber formulation and a copolymer upon curing. Specifically, as measured before being mixed into the fluororubber formulation, the silica particles have an average value of the product '(particle size)&#xd7;(circularity)' that is 17.5 nm or higher and 500 &#x3bc;m or lower. The silica particles may also have an average particle size of between 25.0 nm inclusive and 500 &#x3bc;m inclusive, and an average circularity of 0.80 or higher. Alternatively, as measured after being incorporated into the fluororubber formulation and then cured, the silica particles have an apparent average value of the product '(particle size)&#xd7;(circularity)' that is 32.0 nm or higher and 500 &#x3bc;m or lower. The silica particles may also have an apparent average particle size of between 40.0 nm inclusive and 500 &#x3bc;m inclusive as measured after being incorporated into the fluororubber formulation and then cured.

A sheet-feeding system includes a holding part which holds an end portion of a sheet, a nozzle part for discharging an adhesive agent for joining sheets to each other, and a nozzle moving unit which supports the nozzle part such that the nozzle part is made movable within a region including both temporarily holding parts, in which when a sheet joining condition is established where a remaining amount of the sheet on one original sheet roll becomes equal to or below a predetermined remaining amount, an end portion of the sheet on the other original sheet roll is conveyed to the temporarily holding part by the holding part and, thereafter, the nozzle part is moved to the temporarily holding part, and the adhesive agent is discharged to the end portion of the sheet from the nozzle part.

Sheet-feeding system and sheet-feeding method

When a remaining amount of a sheet on one original sheet roll is equal to or less than a predetermined remaining amount, a pair of holding pads is brought into a first posture where holding surfaces are opened, and the holding surface of one holding pad is pressed to a joining end portion from the outside of the original sheet roll in a radial direction of another original sheet roll. Further, the holding pad is moved such that the joining end portion is separated toward the outside of the original sheet roll in the radial direction. Further, the posture of the pair of holding pads is changed into a second posture where the holding surfaces approach each other, and the joining end portion is conveyed to a joining part in a state where the joining end portion is sandwiched between the holding surfaces of the pair of holding pads.

A sheet delivery system includes: an end section detector which detects a position of an end section of a sheet; an end section conveying apparatus which holds the end section of the sheet and which conveys the end section of the sheet to a joining unit; a roll driving motor which rotationally drives a standby-side original material roll around a central axis thereof; and a suction roller which is capable of coming into rolling contact with an outer peripheral surface of the standby-side original material roll, and which includes an outer peripheral surface capable of suctioning the end section of the sheet in order to separate the end section of the sheet from the standby-side original material roll. The end section detector is attached at a position which enables detection of the end section of the sheet separated from the standby-side original material roll by the suction roller.

Sheet delivery system and sheet delivery method using same

A joining unit includes: a suction holding member having a suction surface configured to suction an end section of a sheet; a moving mechanism configured to move the suction surface toward an intermediate section of a sheet of a delivery-side original material roll along a path set in advance so that tension is applied to the sheet; and a regulating mechanism that is configured to switch between a regulated state in which a movement of the end section of the sheet with respect to the suction holding member due to the tension is regulated and an allowable state in which the movement of the end section of the sheet with respect to the suction holding member is allowed. The controller switches the regulating mechanism to the regulated state during the movement of the suction surface toward the intermediate section of the sheet of the delivery-side original material roll.

A sheet delivery system includes: a joining unit configured to join, to an intermediate section of a sheet being delivered from a delivery-side original material roll, an end section of a sheet of a standby-side original material roll; and an operation robot configured to retrieve the end section of the sheet from the standby-side original material roll and convey the end section of the sheet to the joining unit. The sheet delivery system is configured to set, in advance, a sheet retrieval position at which the sheet is retrieved from each of the original material rolls, for each of the original material rolls. The operation robot is configured to convey the end section of the sheet from each of the sheet retrieval positions to the joining unit.

There is provided a fluorine-containing elastomer composition assuring easy kneading and providing a crosslinked article having improved strength. The fluorine-containing elastomer composition comprises (A) an elastomer of a vinylidene fluoride/hexafluoropropylene copolymer having a branching coefficient of 30 to 300 ppm, a Mooney viscosity (ML: 121&#xb0; C.) of 7 to 80 and a molecular weight distribution (Mw/Mn) of 1.5 to 4, and (B) an elastomer of a vinylidene fluoride/hexafluoropropylene copolymer having a storage modulus G' at 180&#xb0; C. at 500 cpm of 500 to 900, and a mass ratio of (A)/(B) is 70/30 to 90/10.

Fluorine-containing elastomer composition

The present invention provides the process for preparing a fluorine-containing polymer which can easily and efficiently separate a fluorine-containing polymer and water from an aqueous dispersion of a fluorine-containing polymer, and the fluorine-containing polymer obtained by the mentioned preparation process. Further the present invention provides the molded article obtained by crosslinking a curable composition comprising the above-mentioned fluorine-containing polymer and a crosslinking agent. The preparation process is a process for preparing a fluorine-containing polymer comprising a step for heat-treating an aqueous dispersion of a fluorine-containing polymer having a concentration of 3 to 70% by weight to obtain the fluorine-containing polymer having a water content of not more than 1% by weight.

Process for preparing fluorine-containing polymer and fluorine-containing polymer prepared by said preparation process

The present invention provides a process for preparing a fluorine-containing polymer having few branched chains and little weight change in high temperatures, which is a new process wherein composition distribution substantially does not occur. The fluorine-containing polymer is prepared by a batch copolymerization process conducted under conditions of reduced temperature of at least 0.95 and reduced pressure of at least 0.80 of the critical constant calculated from critical temperature, critical pressure and composition ratio of each monomer in the gaseous phase of the reaction vessel using the Peng-Robinson formula.
