In the present embodiment, the energy storage apparatus includes: an energy storage device; a terminal member adjacent to the energy storage device; and a restraint member fixed to the terminal member. The restraint member includes a first portion that extends along the energy storage device in an arrangement direction in which the energy storage device and the terminal member are arranged, a second portion that extends along the terminal member in a direction intersecting the arrangement direction and is fixed to the terminal member, and a connection that connects ends of the first portion and the second portion to each other. The connection includes a plurality of bent portions or curved portions.

Energy storage apparatus

In an embodiment, an energy storage apparatus includes plural energy storage devices arranged in a first direction, and a frame arranged along the energy storage devices. Each of the energy storage devices has an outer surface facing in a second direction orthogonal to the first direction. The frame has a first portion extending in the first direction along the outer surface, and a second portion extending in the second direction toward a facing surface on which the energy storage apparatus is installed, from at least a part of the first portion.

In an embodiment, an energy storage apparatus includes a plurality of energy storage devices arranged in a first direction and a pair of insulators extending in the first direction along the plurality of energy storage devices and arranged at an interval from each other in a second direction orthogonal to the first direction, and each of the plurality of energy storage devices has an outer surface facing a third direction orthogonal to the first direction and the second direction, and each of the pair of insulators has a space forming part extending from a position on the outer surface in the first direction and the third direction, and forming a space between a facing surface, on which the energy storage apparatus is installed, and the outer surface.

A vehicle seat includes a seat base and a seat back which together define a first outboard seating section, a second outboard seating section, and a center seating section. A center seat back of the center seating section is defined by a service door and a removable panel provided beneath the service door in a height direction of the vehicle seat. The service door is connected to one of the seat base and the seat back at a first hinged connection. The center seat back is configured to have a fold down, service position where the service door pivoted at the first hinged connection is located above the seat base to provide access to an area rearward the seat back in a front-rear direction of the vehicle seat. A holding member holding an energy storage device is provided with: a first frame including an end member aligned with the energy storage device, and an attachment portion connected to the end member; a second frame including a body aligned with the energy storage device, and an extension extending from the body and extending along the outer surface of the end member; and a plurality of coupling portions that couple the first frame and the second frame in a first direction and disposed in the extension at an interval in a second direction. The attachment portion includes an installation portion that is installed on a fixing surface. A vehicle assembly includes a vehicle body including a frame backing member, and a vehicle seat including a seat back having a seat back frame. An energy attenuating member is positioned in a space between the frame backing member and the seat back frame in a front-rear direction of the vehicle assembly. The energy attenuating member is connected to the frame backing member. A mounting bracket is connected to the energy attenuating member. A connection support portion releasably connects the mounting bracket to an upper portion of the seat back frame in a height direction of the vehicle assembly.

A vehicle assembly includes a vehicle body including an interior panel, a seat having a frame fixed to the panel, and a seat energy absorber operably associated with the seat and including a backing and a bracket. The backing is formed from the vehicle body and positioned separated from the seat to define a space between the seat and the backing along a length of the panel, and the bracket is mounted in the space on at least one of the seat and the backing such that a proximal end portion of the bracket is located closer to the seat than the backing, and a distal end portion of the bracket is located closer to the backing than the seat. During a crash event a section of the panel is configured to collapse against the seat when the seat is driven toward the panel relative to the vehicle body.

An energy storage apparatus includes: energy storage devices each including an external terminal, the energy storage devices being arranged in a first direction; a bus bar including a plate-like conductive portion; and a neighboring member disposed between the energy storage devices. The conductive portion includes: a fusible portion where a width size, which is a size in a second direction orthogonal to the first direction, is defined by a pair of edges, the width size being smaller than a width size of other portions of the conductive portion; and a pair of enlarged width portions contiguously formed with both sides of the fusible portion in the first direction, a width size of the pair of enlarged width portions increasing in a direction away from the fusible portion. An energy storage apparatus includes: a main part; a conductive opposedly facing member disposed to opposedly face the main part; and an insulating member disposed between the main part and the opposedly facing member. The opposedly facing member includes an opposedly facing portion a part of which overlaps with the main part. The opposedly facing portion includes an end surface which overlaps with the main part, the end surface facing upwardly. The insulating member includes: a covering portion covering a surface of the opposedly facing portion directed toward a main part; and a seal portion extending from the covering portion toward the main part. The covering portion includes an end portion disposed at a position which agrees with the end surface or at a position outside the end surface in a direction orthogonal to the end surface. The seal portion extends from the end portion toward the main part.
