A shield cover () made of metal is configured to be attached to a device and includes a cover body () configured to cover a shield target. Two planar attachment plates () protrude from the cover body (). Bolt insertion holes (A,A) extend through the respective attachment plates () in a thickness direction thereof and receive bolts () for attaching the shield cover () to the device. The attachment plates () are configured to be attached to the device with brackets () sandwiched between the device and the attachment plates (). A rib () extends up along an edge of at least one of the attachment plates () to reinforce a portion of the attachment plate () that will not be sandwiched between the bolt () and the bracket ().

Shield cover

A shield connector () includes electric wires (), a housing (), a shield conductor (), and a shield bracket (). The shield bracketincludes a main bracket () including a conductor holding portion (), first and second connection portions () and an auxiliary bracket (). The conductor holding portion () and the shield conductor () held thereby the cover outlet tubes () and the electric wires () from one side. The housing () includes first and second attachment protrusions (). The first connection portion () includes a first attachment piece () engaged with the first attachment protrusion (). The auxiliary bracket () includes an auxiliary attachment piece () engaged with the second attachment protrusion (). An overlapping plate () of the auxiliary bracket () is swaged onto the second connection portion () by a swaging piece () of the second connection portion ().

Shield connector

A rotary electric machine includes a coil portion of the stator coil that protrudes from an end of a stator core, a terminal module that is provided on a top of the coil portion on an axial end of the coil portion and that electrically connects the stator coil and an external electric device, and a cover unit in which a cover that covers the terminal module and a guide that guides a coolant to the coil portion are formed together into one piece. The guide is provided on each of circumferentially opposite sides of the cover to supply a coolant to the coil portion in a distributed manner.

Rotary electric machine

A connector includes a plurality of terminals, a housing, and a retainer. The housing includes terminal housing chambers and partition portions. Each of the terminal housing chambers accommodates therein each of the plurality of terminals. Each of the partition portions is provided between adjacent terminal housing chambers and partition the adjacent terminal housing chambers from each other. The retainer is attached to the housing. The retainer is configured to prevent each of the terminals from falling out and to move between a temporary locking position and a proper locking position. The retainer includes communication cut portions. While the retainer is moving between the proper locking position and the temporary locking position, each of the communication cut portions is kept in contact with its corresponding partition portion and cut off communication between the adjacent terminal housing chambers.

Connector with terminal locking function

In a stator and a rotating electric machine equipped with this stator, the insulation properties of a coil are ensured by suppressing lead wire stress generated during a stator assembly process. The stator has a stator core, a coil wound around the stator core, lead wires led out from the coil, and power lines provided between the lead wires and a connection terminal of an external circuit. The lead wires and the power lines are electrically connected with each other through an elastically deformable elastic bus bar. Even if a shift occurs in the relative position between the coil and the connection terminal during the assembly process of the stator, this configuration allows the elastic bus bar to absorb the shift and makes it possible to suppress the stress generated on the lead wires.
