According to one embodiment, a sensor includes a detection device, a switch circuit, and a detection circuit. The detection device includes a first detection section and a second detection section. The first detection section includes a first detection element. The first detection element includes a first conductive member and a first resistance member. The second detection section includes a second detection element. The second detection element includes a second conductive member and a second resistance member. In a first operation, the switch circuit is configured to supply a first current to the first conductive member and not to supply the first current to the second conductive member, and the detection circuit is configured to output a first signal corresponding to a difference between a first electrical resistance of the first resistance member and a second electrical resistance of the second resistance member.

Sensor and sensor system

According to one embodiment, a sensor includes a housing, a sensor portion, and a film member. The housing includes a first housing member including an opening. The first housing member includes a first inner face, and a first side face inside the opening. The sensor portion includes a sensor member including a hole, and a sensor element. A first gap is provided between the sensor element and the sensor member. The film member is porous. The film member includes an inner region and an outer region around the inner region. The outer region faces the first inner face. The sensor member is located between the sensor element and the inner region. The sensor member faces the inner region. At least a part of the inner region overlaps the first side face in a second direction crossing a first direction from the sensor element to the sensor member.

According to one embodiment, a sensor includes a first sensor part. The first sensor part includes an insulating member, and first and second element parts. The first element part includes a first resistance element including first and first other resistance end portions, and covered with the insulating member, a first electrode electrically connected to the first resistance end portion, and not covered with the insulating member, and a first other electrode electrically connected to the first other resistance end portion, and not covered with the insulating member. The second element part includes a second resistance element including and second other resistance end portions, and covered with the insulating member, a second electrode electrically connected to the second resistance end portion, and not covered with the insulating member, and a second other electrode electrically connected to the second other resistance end portion, and not covered with the insulating member.

Sensor

According to one embodiment, a sensor includes a detection device and a circuit portion. The detection device includes a first detection portion and a second detection portion. The first detection portion includes a first detection element. The first detection element includes a first conductive member and a first detection member. The second detection portion includes a second detection element. The second detection element includes a second conductive member and a second detection member. The circuit portion is configured to execute a first detection portion operation for outputting a first detection result corresponding to a first detection value based on the first detection member when a first current is supplied to the first conductive member. In a case where a first evaluation value is not within a first range, the circuit portion is configured to execute a second detection portion operation by the second detection portion.

Sensor and sensor system including multiple detection portions

According to one embodiment, a sensor includes a first sensor part. The first sensor part includes a first electrode, a first counter electrode, and a first intermediate layer located between the first electrode and the first counter electrode. The first counter electrode includes a first electrode side surface. The first electrode side surface crosses a first cross direction. The first cross direction crosses a first direction from the first electrode toward the first counter electrode. The first intermediate layer includes a first intermediate layer side surface. The first intermediate layer side surface crosses the first cross direction. The first intermediate layer side surface is recessed when referenced to the first electrode side surface.

A sensor includes a handhole part and a sensor module. The handhole part includes an inner wall and a holder. The holder is located at the inner wall. The sensor module is provided in the handhole part. The sensor module includes a held part held by the holder, a housing connected with the held part, a sensor circuit provided in the housing and including a gas sensor element, and a battery configured to supply electrical power to the sensor circuit. A gap is between the inner wall and the housing and between the housing and a first member under the housing.

Sensor and sensor module

According to one embodiment, a sensor includes a handhole part, a sensor module, and a holder. The handhole part includes an inner wall. The sensor module is provided in the handhole part. The sensor module includes a housing, a sensor circuit provided in the housing, the sensor circuit including a gas sensor element, and a battery configured to supply electrical power to the sensor circuit. The holder holds the sensor module so that a gap is formed between the inner wall and the housing and between the housing and a first member under the housing.

According to one embodiment, a sensor includes a base body, and a first sensor part. The first sensor part includes fixed and movable electrode members, and first and second support members. The fixed electrode member includes a fixed electrode fixed to the base body. The movable electrode member includes a movable electrode. The movable electrode member includes first and second movable portions, and a third movable portion between the first and second movable portions. The first support member is fixed to the base body and connected with the first movable portion. The second support member is fixed to the base body and connected with the second movable portion. The first and second support members support the movable electrode member to provide a first gap between the fixed and movable electrode members. The fixed electrode member includes first, second, and third fixed electrode portions facing the movable portion.

According to one embodiment, an optical sensor is disclosed. The sensor includes a bandpass filter which transmits light in a first wavelength band including a first wavelength, and includes a transmittance distribution of the light in the first wavelength band. The transmittance distribution has a maximal value at the first wavelength. The sensor further includes a notch filter which blocks transmission of light in a second wavelength band including a second wavelength shorter than the first wavelength, and includes a transmittance distribution of light in the second wavelength band. The transmittance distribution has a first minimal value at the second wavelength.

Optical sensor

According to one embodiment, the p-side electrode is provided on the second semiconductor layer. The insulating film is provided on the p-side electrode. The n-side electrode includes a first portion, a second portion, and a third portion. The first portion is provided on a side face of the first semiconductor layer. The second portion is provided in the first n-side region. The third portion overlaps the p-side electrode via the insulating film and connects the first portion and the second portion to each other.

Semiconductor light-emitting device

According to one embodiment, a cell sorter includes a flow channel which supplies a sample liquid containing particles, a plurality of branch channels connected to the flow channel, an image sensor which has a pixel region covering the flow channel and the branch channels, a determination unit which determines the characteristics of the particles in the sample liquid from a measurement signal of the pixel region, and a separation unit guides the particles in the sample liquid to any of the branch channels based on the determination result of the determination unit.

Cell sorter

The semiconductor layer has a first surface, a second surface provided on opposite side from the first surface, and a third surface provided on the opposite side from the first surface with a step difference with respect to the second surface. The semiconductor layer includes a light emitting layer between the first surface and the third surface. The first electrode is in contact with the second surface. The second electrode is provided in a plane of the third surface. The second electrode includes a contact part in contact with the third surface and an end part not in contact with the third surface. The second electrode contains silver. The insulating film is provided between the end part of the second electrode and the third surface. A semiconductor light emitting device having a high light extraction efficiency is provided.

According to one embodiment, a pattern forming method includes forming a resist pattern on a substrate, forming a first silicone resin layer so as to bury the resist pattern on the substrate, pressing a film on the surface of the first silicone resin layer to adhere the film thereto, curing the first silicone resin layer after the adhesion of the film, peeling the film from the first silicone resin layer before or after the curing of the first silicone resin layer, and removing the resist pattern after the peeling of the film.

According to one embodiment, a measuring device for a sample liquid includes a container which stores the sample liquid, the container including a transparent or translucent optical component with an inclined surface to be brought into contact with the sample liquid, an optical sensor provided on a bottom of the container, which detects light from the sample liquid, and a measurement module which measures a concentration of a specific substance contained in the sample liquid, or a liquid height or liquid volume of the sample liquid based on a detected signal of the optical sensor.
