A lever-type connector includes a mating housing having a cam boss and a release rib portion, a housing that has a support shaft and a temporarily locked portion and that is fitted into and removed from the mating housing, and a lever having a temporary locking arm portion where a temporary locking portion is temporarily locked to the temporarily locked portion and is unlocked from the temporarily locked portion by the release rib portion, the lever having a cam groove including a boss pick-up portion and a boss holding portion that engage with the cam boss, and the lever being rotated from a temporary locking position to a fitting completion position via the support shaft to cause the cam groove to engage with the cam boss, thus moving the mating housing toward the housing and fitting the mating housing and the housing to each other.

Lever-type connector

A lever-type connector includes a mating housing, a housing that is fitted into and removed from the mating housing, and a lever that is rotatably supported by the housing and fits the housings to each other. The lever includes a temporary locking arm portion that has a temporary locking portion, the housing includes a temporarily locked portion that is temporarily locked to and unlocked from the temporary locking portion of the temporary locking arm portion, the mating housing includes a release rib portion that releases a temporary locking state of the temporary locking portion of the temporary locking arm portion and the temporarily locked portion of the housing, and a cam groove of the lever includes a boss receiving portion that receives the cam boss when the mating housing and the housing are temporarily set.

A connector includes a panel, a first housing assembled to the panel, and a second housing fittable to the first housing. A grommet covers the outer circumference of the second housing and has a lip to be brought into close contact with the panel. A flange is provided movably on the outer circumference of the second housing. The flange is regulated in movement with respect to the second housing with the lip away from the panel. A fitting detection mechanism enables the flange to move toward the panel and enables the lip to come in close contact with the panel, with the first housing and the second housing fitting normally together.

Connector for vehicle

The lever-type connector includes a first housing, a housing fitted to and removed from the first housing, and a lever turnably supported by the housing, where the lever is configured to fit the both housings. The lever includes a provisional lock arm portion having a provisional locking portion, and the housing includes a provisional locked portion configured to be provisionally fitted to and detached from the provisional locking portion of the provisional lock arm portion and a provisional set arm portion configured to suppress detachment between the first housing and the housing in the provisionally set state during the provisional lock release of the lever. The first housing includes a release rib portion configured to release the provisional locking state between the provisional locking portion of the provisional lock arm portion and the provisional locked portion of the housing.

A connector includes a first housing including a receptacle, a second housing capable of being engaged with or disengaged from the receptacle, a locked portion provided in the first housing, a locking portion provided in the second housing capable of locking an engaged state of the first housing and the second housing by locking the locked portion, and a rib provided in one of the first housing and the second housing, which includes an inclined surface and a flat portion in sequence along the connecting direction of the first housing and the second housing. A position and a length of the rib and a position of the locking portion are set in such a manner that the first housing and the second housing start to be engaged in the order of the inclined surface of the rib, the locking portion, and the flat portion of the rib.

Connector

A protective cap is used when a male inner housing to which male terminals and electric wires are attached is passed through a bellows-shaped tubular portion of a grommet. A male outer housing mounted on an annular seal portion of the grommet and the male inner housing accommodated in the male outer housing in a state where the male inner housing accommodates and holds the male terminals connected to the electric wires constitutes the connector. The protective cap includes a circular cap main body having an accommodating recess that accommodates tab portions of the male terminals protruding more than a front face of the male inner housing, at least a front side of the male inner housing being fitted into the accommodating recess. An outer diameter of the cap main body is smaller than an inner diameter of the bellows-shaped tubular portion.

Protective cap

Provided is a connector unit which can prevent damage to respective parts during rotation of a lever member. A fitting portion of a female outer housing fits with a to-be-fitted portion of a male outer housing, wherein timing of the fitting is after timing of insertion of a guide projection into a guide groove and timing of releasing of a restriction arm by a release projection. Fitting of the fitting portion with the to-be-fitted portion allows an operator to feel a change in force required for operation during moving the male outer housing and the female outer housing toward each other. By rotating the lever member after the operator felt the change in the force, damage to the guide projection and the restriction arm and such can be prevented.

Connector unit

A lever-type connector includes a housing and a lever movably attached to the housing. The lever includes a side plate provided along a side surface of the housing, and an operation portion connected to the side plate. A boss is provided on the side surface of the housing. The side plate of the lever has an elongate hole into which the boss is inserted to restrict a moving range of the lever. An engagement stepped portion is provided at one end of the elongate hole. The engagement stepped portion is recessed on its outer side. The boss has an engagement projection provided at its distal end portion. The engagement projection extends along the elongate hole. The engagement stepped portion and the engagement projection engage with each other in a state in which the lever has been moved in a direction that separates the housing from a counterpart housing.

Lever-type connector capable of operability

A lever type connector includes a male housing having a hood part, a lever rotatably supported on the male housing, a moving plate for positioning a tab part of a male terminal within the hood part and a female housing to be fitted into and detached from the hood part. By operating the lever forward, it is possible to allow the female housing to move to an inner side of the hood part together with the moving plate, thereby allowing the female housing to be fitted into the male housing. When the male housing is not fitted to the female housing, a rib of the lever abuts against a boss of the moving plate. When the abutment between the rib and the boss is released by operating the lever forward, the female housing is permitted to push the moving plate into the hood part.

Lever type connector

A connector includes a pair of connector housings, a fitting part provided in one connector housing of the pair of connector housings, and a fitted part provided in another connector housing and to which the fitting part is fitted. The fitted part has a frame and a movable housing. The movable housing is arranged within the frame, and is movable in a fitting direction. Timing to complete fitting between the movable housing and the fitting part is different from timing to complete fitting between the frame and the fitting part. The frame and the movable housing have a locking part which temporarily locks the movable housing within the frame. The locking part is restored by releasing the temporary locking in a state in which the fitting between the fitting part and the movable housing is completed. A periphery of the restored locking part is covered with a protection part.

A first connector housing () includes a rotation prevention lock arm () configured to flexurally-deform into a state allowing to temporary lock the rotation prevention lock arm () to a peripheral edge () of a mounting hole () and to locate a temporary locking position to a position allowing to prevent rotation around the temporary locking position of a lock arm () as a supporting point (P), and a second connector housing () includes a rotation prevention pressing portion () configured to flexurally-deform the rotation prevention lock arm (), and the rotation prevention pressing portion () temporarily locks the rotation prevention lock arm () to the peripheral edge () of the mounting hole () in timing when a lock arm locking portion () temporarily locks the lock arm () to the peripheral edge () of the mounting hole ().

Connector device

A connector () includes a pair of connector housings (), a fitting portion () provided in one connector housing () and configured to receive a terminal (), and a fitted portion () provided in the other connector housing () and configured to receive a mating terminal () capable of fitting with the terminal (). The fitted portion () includes a frame () and a movable housing (). The frame () and the movable housing () are respectively provided with a flexture lock aim () and a latching projecting portion (). The fitting portion () is provided with a releasing portion () configured to release engagement between the lock arm () and the latching projecting portion () by flexing the lock arm (). The releasing portion () flexes the lock arm () before the terminal () and the mating terminal () fit with each other.

A separation prevention rib () is formed in a locking protrusion (), an engagement portion () of a locking arm () is caught on the separation prevention rib () when a second connector housing () is separated, and thus a first connector housing () is pulled by the separation operation of the second connector housing () to re-lock the first connector housing () to a panel (P).

Panel-fixed connector device

A second wall () has an opening (). When an engagement projection () has climbed the inclined surface () of a lock projection () and is going to reach the top of the lock projection, the opening allows a pressing projection () to be slide contacted with its edge () while pressing the edge, thereby giving a lock arm a pressing force opposite to the deflecting direction thereof.
