Hard imaging methods and devices are described. In at least some examples, a method includes ejecting a plurality of droplets of a liquid marking agent corresponding to the image to be formed, wherein the droplets of the liquid marking agent individually comprise a plurality of ink particles. The droplets are received upon a transfer member, and after the receiving, at least the ink particles are transferred from the transfer member to media to form a hard version of the image using the media.

According to one embodiment, an imaging method includes accessing image data of an image to be formed; using the image data, controlling a print device to eject a plurality of droplets of a liquid marking agent corresponding to the image to be formed, wherein the droplets of the liquid marking agent individually comprise a plurality of ink particles; using the print device, ejecting the droplets of the liquid marking agent; after the ejecting, receiving the droplets of the liquid marking agent upon a transfer member; and after the receiving, transferring the ink particles of the droplets from the transfer member to media to form a hard version of the image using the media.

A method of treating a photoconductor for enhancing crack resistance when it comes into contact with a liquid toner comprises bending a photoconductor sheet having a length and a width to a tube having an outer diameter and a length corresponding to the width of the photoconductor sheet with the photoconductive layer facing outward. The tube of the photoconductor sheet is then inserted into a cylinder having an inner diameter greater than the outer diameter of the tube and a length of at least the length of the tube of the photoconductor sheet. The treatment of the tube of the photoconductor sheet in the cylinder takes place by maintaining it in the cylinder at a temperature of from about room temperature to an elevated temperature. The tube of the photoconductor sheet is removed from the cylinder while it is at about room temperature.
