A first feeder contacts a first surface of a first sheet held in a first tray and feeds the first sheet toward a recording unit. A second feeder contacts a first surface of a second sheet held in a second tray and feeds the second sheet toward the recording unit. An inner member is disposed above a standing plate. An outer member comprises an upstream portion opposing the standing plate, and a downstream portion opposing the inner member. The inner member guides the first surface of the first sheet and the first surface of the second sheet. The standing plate guides the first surface of the second sheet. The upstream portion of the outer member guides a second surface of the second sheet, and the downstream portion guides a second surface of the first sheet and the second surface of the second sheet. The standing plate moves relative to the outer member.

Image recording device

There is provide a conveying apparatus conveying a sheet including: a main body formed with a conveyance path; a first feed tray installable in the main body at a first position; a discharge tray; and a first regulating section performing regulation for regulating movement of the first tray, in a state of being located at a second position, toward the other side in a first direction. The first regulating section is configured to release the regulation, in a case that the first feed tray, at the second position, is moved upwardly by a first predetermined moving amount. A spacing distance in the up/down direction between the first feed tray and the discharge tray is shorter than the first predetermined moving amount. The discharge tray is configured to be move upwardly by being contacted with the first feed tray in a case that the first feed tray is moved upwardly.

Conveying apparatus and image recording apparatus

A sheet tray includes: a first receiving member; a second receiving member including a first holding portion configured to be pushed into and drawn out from the first receiving member and a third receiving member including a second holding portion configured to be pushed into and drawn out from the second receiving member. The first receiving member covers the second and third receiving members in a state of being pushed into. The second receiving member is configured to expose the second holding portion while maintaining a state in which the third receiving member can be drawn out. The first receiving member is configured to expose the second holding portion while maintaining a state in which the third receiving member can be drawn out.

Sheet tray

There is provided a conveyance apparatus including a main body, a feed tray, and a discharge tray. The discharge tray includes a first projecting portion, and the main body includes a supporting portion, first and second contacting portions. With the installed discharge tray rotating by a first amount or more about a fulcrum in a direction for such a part of the discharge tray as positioned on one side in a second direction from the fulcrum to move away from the first contacting portion, the first projecting portion is positioned below the second contacting portion. The part of the installed discharge tray as positioned on the one side in the second direction from the fulcrum is lighter in weight than the part of the installed discharge tray as positioned on the other side in the second direction. The conveyance apparatus includes a regulating portion.

Conveyance apparatus and image recording apparatus

There is provided a sheet tray including: first, second and third trays. The second tray moves between a first position and a second position in which an overlapping area is smaller than that obtained in the first position. The third tray includes a third support surface and a fourth support surface. The third support surface includes a protrusion which protrudes upward to be positioned above the first support surface in a state that the third tray is in the first pivoting position. The third tray overlaps with the first support surface in a state that the second tray is in the first position and that at least a part, of the third tray, except for the protrusion is positioned below the first support surface, and the third tray does not overlap with the first support surface in a state that the second tray is in the second position.

Sheet tray, conveyance unit and image recording apparatus

A sheet tray includes a first tray and a second tray each including a first friction portion or a first contact portion, and a second friction portion or a second contact portion. In a process of movement of the second tray from a first position to a second position, the first friction portion contacts the first contact portion to deform the first contact portion and starts returning the first contact portion from a deformed shape to an original shape when the second tray is located at a position spaced apart from the second position in a second direction. The second friction portion contacts the second contact portion when the second tray moved from the first position in a first direction has reached the second position, and the second friction portion deforms the second contact portion when the second tray is moved from the second position in the first direction.

A second tray is movable along a first direction, relative to a first tray, between a first position and a second position. The second tray includes a rail extending along the first direction, and engagement portions disposed along the rail. The rail includes an overlap portion which overlaps a sheet support surface of the first tray when the second tray is at the first position. A guide member is supported by the rail and movable along the first direction to contact an edge of a sheet supported by the second tray. A contact portion of the first tray disengages the guide member from one of the engagement portions upon contact with the guide member during movement of the second tray from the second position toward the first position while the guide member is supported at the overlap portion of the rail.

A sheet conveyance apparatus includes a conveyance unit which conveys sheets and a discharge tray which supports the sheets conveyed by the conveyance unit. The discharge tray includes: a first tray which has first, second and third rail sections arranged at different positions respectively in a widthwise direction perpendicular to a conveyance direction and extending respectively in the conveyance direction; and a second tray which is arranged on a lower side of the first tray and which is slidably supported by the first, second, and third rail sections. The first rail section and the third rail section are contrary to each other in relation to the positions in the widthwise direction with respect to the second rail section. The first rail section has a first rib and a first protruding section; and the second rail section has a second rib and a second protruding section.
