A vibration component for loudspeakers includes a base layer, an intermediate layer, and a coating layer. The base layer has a front face and a rear face, has a first density, and is formed of a paper body containing a plurality of fibers. The intermediate layer has a first face joined to the front face of the base layer, and a second face on a reverse side of the intermediate layer from the first face, has a second density higher than the first density, and includes a plurality of cellulose fibers as a main component. The coating layer is provided on the second face of the intermediate layer, and includes an inorganic powder formed of a plurality of inorganic fine particles.

A loudspeaker diaphragm includes a woven fabric which is a base member, a sealing layer, and a coating layer. The woven fabric includes a first face and a second face on the reverse side of the woven fabric from the first face. The woven fabric is made into the shape of a diaphragm. The sealing layer is disposed on the first face of the woven fabric, and seals the mesh openings surrounded by warp threads and weft threads of the woven fabric. The coating layer is formed of a first composite material which is a mixture of a plurality of first short nanofibers and a first resin. The coating layer permeates the woven fabric from the second face of the woven fabric to the sealing layer.

A loudspeaker diaphragm includes a base layer and a coating layer. The base layer contains natural fibers. The coating layer is composed of bamboo cellulose nanofibers and is formed at least on the first side of the base layer. A diaphragm is gained by the co-molded of a dome part, a voice coil junction part, a cone part and a peripheral part through the injection mold of thermoplastic resin. The thickness of the central part of the dome is made great so that the resonance amplitude in this part becomes small. In addition, an annular rib is integrally provided to the voice coil junction part so as to increase the junction strength between the diaphragm and the voice coil bobbin. Thus, the electromagnetic driving force of the voice coil can be effectively transmitted to the diaphragm so that a loud speaker with excellent characteristics can be gained.

A speaker edge is made of a thermosetting composition consisting of a polyurethane prepolymer and an inactivated solid polyamine as a latent hardener. A gas is dispersed in the thermosetting composition, prior to feed into a mold, so that it can foam and solidify to give the speaker edge. In a method of making the speaker edge, the composition will be injected into a female mold segment heated below the critical thermosetting temperature, foaming the composition. Then placed in the female segment is a male segment heated above the critical temperature, causing the ingredients to react with each other to solidify in the mold. An apparatus for making the speaker edge from the composition has: a device for intake of a gas, another device for injecting the composition into the gas, another device for mechanically dispersing the gas throughout the composition, still another device for injection of this gas-containing composition into a female mold segment, a further device for placing a male segment in the female segment, and a still further device for solidifying the composition, while foaming it.
