The present invention addresses the problem of providing a desiccant that can be used for passivation of an electronic device such as an organic electroluminescence element against moisture permeation, as well as an organic thin film including the desiccant, an organic layered film in which the organic thin film is layered, and an electronic device that is provided therewith. This desiccant is characterized by including a compound that emits a hydrophobic substance by absorbing water. This organic thin film is characterized by including this desiccant.

The present invention addresses the problem of providing a manufacturing method for an electronic device that is provided with an organic thin film functioning as a sealing film against moisture permeation in an electronic device such as an organic electroluminescence element. This manufacturing method for an electronic device is a manufacturing method for an electronic device that has at least an organic functional layer, an elution prevention film, and a sealing film in this order, said manufacturing method being characterized by having: a step in which, after coating is performed with a silicone resin, the result is irradiated with vacuum ultraviolet rays to form the elution prevention film; and a step in which, after the elution prevention film is coated with a liquid mixture of a metal alkoxide and a fluoroalcohol, the result is irradiated with vacuum ultraviolet rays to form the ultraviolet rays to form the sealing film.

Manufacturing method for electronic device

Provided is an organic EL element having a high emission efficiency, a light emission life, and excellent high-temperature preservation stability. This organic electroluminescence element has at least one light-emitting layer between a positive electrode and a negative electrode. The light-emitting layer comprises at least one type of light-emitting dopant and at least three types of non-emitting organic materials represented by general formula (2); of the non-emitting organic materials, the material with the largest molecular weight has a molecular weight of 1,500 or less; and the minimum content of the non-emitting organic materials is 1 mass % or greater.

This organic electroluminescent element is characterized in that the organic compound layer includes an electron transport material-containing layer which contains an electron transport material represented by Formula (a) and at least one substance selected from the group consisting of metals, salts of the metals and electron-donating compounds. Disclosed is an organic electroluminescent element in which light extraction efficiency is improved without lowering the electrical conductivity or the transporting or blocking performance for electrons or holes in a transparent electrode or an organic layer. The organic electroluminescent element of the invention is characterized in that it comprises a transparent substrate and provided thereon, at least a first electrode section with a light transmission property, an organic light emission layer section and a second electrode section in this order, the first electrode section containing at least metal nanowires, wherein an average refractive index of the first electrode section is lower than that of the organic light emission layer section.

A method of producing an organic electroluminescent element may include forming a transparent electrode as an anode on a transparent substrate; forming a light emission layer on the transparent substrate having thereon the anode; and forming a cathode on the substrate having thereon the anode and the light emission layer. The light emission layer may be formed by a method including arranging at least one vaporization crucible E evaporating a light emission dopant and at least one vaporization crucible I evaporating a host material and an intermediate layer forming material; and moving the substrate having thereon the anode over the vaporization crucibles E and I to form a light emission layer.

An electroluminescent element is disclosed, comprising an electroluminescent material and a fluorescent substance emitting light having an emission maximum at the wavelength different from that of light emitted from the electroluminescent material upon absorption of the light emitted from the electroluminescent material. A color conversion filter is also disclosed, comprising a fluorescent substance emitting light having an emission maximum at the wavelengths of 400 to 700 nm upon absorption of the light emitted from the electroluminescent material.
