A personal watercraft includes: a watercraft body; an operation unit operated by a driver aboard the watercraft body; a turning attitude detection unit that detects a turning attitude that is an attitude of the watercraft body when the driver performs operation of turning the watercraft body; a behavior adjustment actuator that adjusts behavior of the watercraft body; and a control unit that controls the behavior adjustment actuator based on the turning attitude detected by the turning attitude detection unit.

Personal watercraft and control method for the same

A utility vehicle includes a pair of left and right wheels; a drive source that drives the wheels; and a control device capable of individually controlling rotational speeds of the wheels, wherein in a case where the control device determines that a predetermined tight turn execution condition has been satisfied, the control device executes tight turn control for controlling the wheels so that a rotational speed of an outer wheel becomes relatively higher than a rotational speed of an inner wheel in a turning direction of the utility vehicle.

A utility vehicle includes a front seat, a rear seat at a rear side of the front seat, and a cargo bed at a rear side of the rear seat, and a screen for partitioning the cargo bed and a riding space at a front side of the cargo bed. The cargo bed includes left and right fixed side walls, a front wall movable into the riding space, and left and right expansion side walls expandable into the riding space. The cargo bed is changeable between an expanded state in which the cargo bed is expanded forward into the riding space and a non-expanded state in which the cargo bed is not expanded into the riding space. The screen is attached to the front wall, and each expansion side wall is foldably attached to the front wall and a corresponding one of the fixed side walls.

A utility vehicle is equipped with a riding space and a cargo bed disposed behind the riding space. A screen is disposed between the riding space and the cargo bed, and screen support members extended rear-downward are supported by pivot portions on the screen. Engaging portions engageable with the screen support members are provided on the cargo bed.

A utility vehicle includes a front seat, a rear seat, and a cargo bed provided in order from the front side. The cargo bed is changeable between an expanded state in which the cargo bed is expanded forward into the riding space and a non-expanded state in which the cargo bed is not expanded. Lock devices for fixing the front wall to a vehicle body at a position in the expanded state and at a position in the non-expanded state are provided on the left and right sides of the front wall. The lock devices are displaceable between a fixing position where the lock devices are placed on the outer side of the cargo bed for fixing the front wall, and a non-fixing position where the lock devices are placed on the inner side of the cargo bed.

A reverse system for a water-jet propulsion personal watercraft is disclosed, including a water jet pump configured to eject water rearward from a steering nozzle thereof to thereby propel the watercraft, the steering nozzle being pivotable rightward and leftward, and a reverse bucket disposed rearward of the water jet pump and configured to be vertically pivotable and to have a substantially bowl-shaped inner wall, the reverse bucket being configured to direct the water ejected from the steering nozzle and colliding with the inner wall substantially forward with the reverse bucket located at the lower position, to propel the watercraft rearward, wherein the reverse bucket includes fins provided on the inner wall of the reverse bucket and configured to protrude inward of the inner wall and to extend in substantially a longitudinal direction of the watercraft.

Disclosed is a watercraft comprising a body; a hull constituting a lower portion of the body; a deck having deck floors formed on both sides of the body in a width direction and a raised portion at least extending from a center portion of the body to a rear end portion of the body in a longitudinal direction and being raised from center-side end portions of the deck floors on both sides in the width direction so as to form an engine room that contains the engine, the deck covering the hull from above and constituting an upper portion of the body; a straddle-type seat mounted over an upper end of the raised portion of the deck for a rider to straddle with feet put on the deck floors on both sides; and a rear cowling mounted behind the seat and extending rearwardly from a rear end of the seat.

Stand-up type personal watercraft

Disclosed is an exhaust structure of a jet-propulsion personal watercraft adapted to eject water pressurized and accelerated by a water jet pump from an outlet port so as to be propelled as the resulting reaction, which is configured to cause an exhaust gas from an engine for driving the water jet pump to be discharged to outside of the watercraft through an exhaust passage constituted by a water muffler, and the like. The exhaust structure is configured to cause the exhaust gas from the engine to flow into a pump room through a hollow portion partially or entirely formed in a pump cover covering a pump room that contains the water jet pump from a bottom side of the watercraft and to be discharged to outside of the watercraft through the pump room. The exhaust structure is advantageously capable of producing a high muffling effect and preventing water ingress into the exhaust passage even when the watercraft is inverted.
