A mobile wireless terminal includes a wireless receiving part configured to receive a wireless signal from a base station which belongs to a mobile communication system using a time-frequency conversion for baseband processing; a received signal processing part that includes a time-frequency converting circuit and is configured to process the wireless signal; a setting part configured to successively set central frequencies within regions, wherein a frequency band that the mobile communication system uses is divided into the regions having a predetermined bandwidth; and a received signal strength measuring part configured to measure signal strength of received signals over the regions of the frequency band that the mobile communication system uses based on time-frequency conversion results from the time-frequency converting circuit, the time-frequency conversion results being obtained for the respective regions using the respective central frequencies set by the setting part.

A control unit stores identification information of a cell which has received cell information and identification information of a position registration area to which the cell belongs, in association with each other, in a cell information storage area, and stores identification information of a position registration area where previous position registration has been executed, in a position registration area storage area. Then, the control unit receives, with priority, the cell information relating to the cell stored in the cell information storage area, which has been detected and which belongs to the position registration area where previous position registration has been executed.

A mobile radio terminal includes a radio transmission/reception unit and a control unit. The radio transmission/reception unit uses a radio signal to perform transmission and reception to and from a base station belonging to a circuit switching network, and also uses a radio signal to perform transmission and reception to and from a base station belonging to a mobile communication network. The mobile communication network is connected to the circuit switching network and forms an integrated communication network together with the circuit switching network. When the mobile radio terminal is on standby in a base station belonging to the mobile communication network, the control unit activates the radio transmission/reception unit and controls the radio transmission/reception unit so as to maintain synchronization with a base station belonging to the circuit switching network.

In an evaluation system for evaluating a target board produced for use with a microprocessor, an evaluation microcomputer is connected between the target board and an evaluation tool. In the evaluation microcomputer: an emulation circuit emulates functions of the microprocessor, and supplies an emulation result to the evaluation tool through an interface circuit; the interface circuit interfaces the emulation circuit with the evaluation tool; and a data storing circuit stores data relating to the microprocessor. The emulation circuit and the interface circuit are powered by the target board, and the data storing circuit is powered by the evaluation tool. Alternatively, when the interface circuit further has the function of the data storing circuit, the interface circuit is powered by the evaluation tool.

An information processing device capable of accepting a communication request from another information processing device without fail, regardless of whether the device is in a standby state or not. A first condition detection circuit detects, synchronously with a clock signal, a communication start condition for starting communication with the other information processing device, and a second condition detection circuit detects, asynchronously with the clock signal, the communication start condition for starting communication with the other information processing device. A selector circuit selects a suitable one of the first and second condition detection circuits.
