A board connector () includes a housing (), fixing members () and a shield member (). The housing () holds a terminal fitting (). The fixing member () includes a housing fixing portion () to be fixed to the housing () and a board fixing portion () to be fixed to a circuit board () while being electrically connected to the circuit board (). The shield member () includes mounting portions () to be mounted on the housing () and covering portions () for covering outer side surfaces of the fixing members () in a mounting direction of the mounting portions (), and the covering portions () include contact portions () configured to come into contact with the outer side surfaces of the fixing members ().

Board connector

A board connector has a housing () with legs () on a lower surface () facing a surface side of a circuit board (). A locking portion () is provided on a tip end of the leg () and protrudes in a direction intersecting with a projecting direction from the lower surface () and can be locked to an underside of the circuit board (). A base end of the leg portion () is defined by a displacement allowing space () recessed in from the lower surface () of the housing ().

A housing () includes locking portions () on both sides of a mounting surface (). A fixing member () includes a housing mounting portion () to be arranged along the mounting surface () in the housing () and locked by the locking portions (). A plurality of ribs () arranged while being spaced apart in a first direction (front-back direction) along the mounting surface () and respectively extending in a second direction (vertical direction) intersecting with the first direction are provided on the mounting surface () of the housing (). The housing mounting portion () of the fixing member () is provided with a plurality of grooves () extending in the second direction and to be fit to the respective ribs ().

A wiring module that includes a connecting member for connecting adjacent electrode terminals of a plurality of electricity storage elements that have a positive electrode terminal and a negative electrode terminal; an insulating protector that has a partition wall surrounding the connecting member and that accommodates the connecting member; and a detection terminal that is connected to an end portion of an electric wire and that is laid over the connecting member.

A connector is provided with a housing () to be connected with a mating connector housing () upon receiving a pushing force from behind, and a slider () (connection detecting member) to be mounted into the housing () relatively movably between a standby position and a connection position. The slider () includes such an operating plate () as to entirely cover the rear end surface of the housing () at a position behind the rear end surface of the connector housing (). If the operating plate () is pushed forward, a connecting operation of two housings () proceeds and the slider () is moved from the standby position to the connection position.

A movable member () is located at a malfunction preventing position and a pair of functional terminals () are shorted by a shorting terminal () unless two housings () are properly connected, whereas the movable member () is moved to a connection detecting position and the shorting terminal () shorts a pair of detection terminals () at the same time as being disengaged from the pair of functional terminals () when the two housings () are properly connected. Since the shorting terminal () is commonly used to short the pair of functional terminals () for the malfunction prevention and the like and to short the pair of detection terminals () for the detection of a connected state of the two housings (), the number of parts can be reduced.

A housing () has a lock arm () that pivots about a fulcrum () that is rearward of a pivoting portion () of the lock arm (). A detection terminal () has a rear support () supported on the housing () rearward of the pivoting portion (). An action portion () of the detection terminal () is engaged with the pivoting portion () and displaces with the pivoting portion (). The lock arm () deforms during connection of the housing () and a mating housing () so that contacts () of the detection terminal () are not in contact with mating detection terminals (). However, the lock arm () returns resiliently when the housings () are connected properly so that the contacts () contact the mating detection terminals ().

A connector has a male housing () with a receptacle () and a moving plate () is disposed in the receptacle (). A female housing () can fit in the receptacle () and in the moving plate (). First cam followers (F,R) project in from the inner peripheral surface of the receptacle (). Second cam followersF,R project out from the outer peripheral surface of the moving plate () towards the inner peripheral surface of the receptacle (). A lever () is mounted rotatably on the female housing (). Outer surfaces of the lever () have first cam grooves (F,R) for engaging the cam followers (F,R) of the receptacle () and inner surfaces of the lever () have second cam grooves (F,R) for engaging the cam followers (F,R) of the moving plate ().

Connector

A male housing () has a hood () and a rib () that projects forward in the hood (). A moving plate () is disposed movably in the hood () and an insertion hole () is formed on a body () of the moving plate () for receiving the rib (). Guide walls () are formed on the periphery of the insertion hole (). The moving plate () is pressed into the hood () from an initial position by a female housing (). Peripheral sides of the moving plate () are guided by the hood () and peripheral surfaces of the rib () slide in contact with the guide walls () to prevent the moving plate () from shaking.

A connector () has a housing () with an outer peripheral surface (S). A rubber boot () has a tubular sealing portion () with an inner peripheral surface that mounts over and seals to the outer peripheral surface (S) of the housing (). Thus, a compressive elasticity amount of the sealing portion () is not affected by a posture of the first connector () when the first connector () is fit in a second connector (). Therefore, the sealing performance of the sealing portion () does not deteriorate in dependence on the posture of the first connector () when the first connector () is fit in the second connector ().
