The present invention is a vehicle disc brake for which incorrect installation of a friction pad can be prevented with a simple structure. The disc brake is provided with incorrect installation-preventing parts with which, if a friction pad () is installed with an incorrect installation orientation when a pair of tabs () provided on the disc entry-side and disc exit-side of the back plate () of a friction pad () is installed into pad guide grooves () formed on a caliper body (), the tabs bump into the caliper body () and prevent the incorrect installation. The incorrect installation-preventing parts are formed from caliper-side recesses (), which are formed in the pad guide grooves () towards the center of the caliper body, and tab-side protrusions (), which have shapes that correspond to the caliper-side recesses ().

In a saddle riding vehicle including: a swing arm that supports a rear wheel; a sprocket disposed at the rear wheel; and a chain that meshes with the sprocket to thereby drive the rear wheel, the rear wheel includes a rear wheel-side protruding portion that protrudes from the sprocket to an outside in a vehicle width direction, a chain cover fastening portion, to which a chain cover for covering the chain is fastened, is disposed on the outside in the vehicle width direction with respect to the rear wheel-side protruding portion and protrudes to an inside in the vehicle width direction, and the chain cover fastening portion is disposed at a position at which the chain cover fastening portion overlaps the rear wheel-side protruding portion in a vehicle side view.

The present invention is a vehicle disc brake for which incorrect installation of a friction pad can be prevented with a simple structure. A front wheel caliper bracket for supporting an axle is provided in a lower end portion of a front fork. A wheel speed sensor is mounted on the bracket. The wheel speed sensor includes a fixing section and a sensor section, and is mounted on a sensor mounting section of the bracket by a bolt. The sensor mounting section is integrally formed with a rotation regulating portion in a projecting fashion. When fastened by the bolt, a lateral part of the rotating wheel speed sensor comes into contact with the rotation regulating portion to regulate the rotation of the wheel speed sensor, so that the stress from the rotation regulating portion is not exerted directly on the sensor section.

A saddle-ride type vehicle may include a rear cushion that extends upward while one end thereof in a longitudinal direction is connected to a swing arm and that elongates and contracts in the longitudinal direction according to swinging of the swing arm to generate damping force with respect to the swinging of the swing arm, and a rear cushion supporting portion that is provided to a center upper cross frame provided in an upper portion of a vehicle and that supports the other end of the rear cushion in the longitudinal direction. The center upper cross frame is positioned on an extension line of the rear cushion in the longitudinal direction, an opening that penetrates through a horizontal direction is formed in a pivot plates, and in a side view, a rear cushion supporting portion is positioned inside of the opening.
